Callaway Apex Ti Fusion Irons

About This Item

Apex Ti Fusion Irons are expertly crafted like no other iron in golf. This player performance iron is precisely engineered with a titanium face and a forged hollow-body construction. Callaway's leveraged their most advanced materials to provide performance enthusiasts with exceptional power, feel, and consistency.

Superior Materials, Unmatched Performance

  • Titanium is an advanced material that provides unmatched iron performance. Callaway's brazed titanium construction capitalizes on the power of a titanium face combined with the exceptional forged feel of steel. No other iron combines these performance materials into one iron like Callaway has in Apex Ti Fusion.

Revolutionary Speed

  • Leveraging the superiority of titanium, Callaway's provided a face with unbelievable ball speed characteristics. Titanium, the same material used in driver faces, is incredibly efficient and produces a larger sweet spot in an iron than steel.

Unimaginable Feel

  • Apex Ti Fusion utilizes a combination of advanced materials to achieve an unimaginable feel. The titanium face allows for more deflection and interaction with Callaway's patented urethane microspheres. This interaction coupled with a forged, steel body provides a unique feel that is typically only found in single-piece forged irons.

Incredibly Consistent Ball Speed, Spin, and Dispersion

  • The titanium Ai Smart Face yields incredibly consistent ball speed, spin, and dispersion. The result is the performance of a 2-piece iron with consistency like a muscleback.

Premium DLC Finish

  • Ti Fusion boasts a new, ultra-premium Diamond-Like Coating (DLC) finish. DLC is more durable than PVD and produces a unique and striking aesthetic.
  • Proprietary dark coating will wear over time revealing brazed sole joint and highlighting precision engineering that allows for multi-material construction
  • Wear is purely cosmetic and does not affect performance or durability

These Are Beautiful Clubs. Love The Titanium Face.

So these are beautiful clubs love the titanium face love the look black love the shaft gun metal I read some of the other reviews. Some of the comments are basically about the color on the face, where the ball strikes on the face color Ware off I do not have an issue with that. I love the play ability how the ball comes off. The face feels awesome . These are beautiful clubs. I’ve had them a little over A year for me. They feel great. Good distance, good control. I’m gonna keep these for a while. Not going to Buy Other clubs. or at least irons. I really love these.

Horrible Quality

Love the feel of these clubs but quality is horrible. As many have mentioned the black fades quickly which I don't mind as much. The biggest issue I've had is that the face separated from the body at the weld line on two 7 irons. As soon as this starts happening, there is a significant drop off in distance. To pay this much for these clubs and to have them fail like that is unacceptable.

Great Irons!

Great irons! Great feel and great results! I enjoy playing with these cl.

Beautiful Irons But

Beautiful club but just not for me. Sending them back and going back to my I525’s

Very Disappointing For A Premium Iron

I've had these irons for 90 days and although their performance is good, the quality of the product is most disappointing. Within the first rounds, the shadow paint, especially with the wedges, comes off. You would think a premium iron would not look like a 10-year-old club with all kinds of nicks and scratches in the first few rounds. My Club Pro has approached the Calloway Rep about it, but no response after more than a month.

Incredible Feel – But Finish Wears Fast

I was professionally fitted for the Apex Ti Fusion irons and couldn’t be happier with their feel, performance, and overall quality. These clubs are incredibly solid through impact — responsive, smooth, and confidence-inspiring. The craftsmanship is top-tier, and you can feel the technology working in your favor with every swing. That said, I have to echo what other reviewers have mentioned: the black finish starts to wear off almost immediately, especially on the faces and soles. Within just a few rounds, my new irons looked significantly worn — like a set I’ve had for years, not weeks. It’s purely cosmetic, but disappointing at this price point. Bottom line: If you can live with the look, you’re getting a phenomenal iron in terms of performance and feel. But be prepared — they won’t look pristine for long.

Best Iron I’ve Ever Hit In My Life.

I was fitted and bought these in fall of 2024. I’ll get the negative out of the way, the finish is awful. Once you get past that, it’s the best iron I’ve ever owned or hit in my life. I’ve played TM and Titleist in the past and this blows them away. I’m 46 y/o, 7 handicap and have been playing golf for 38 years. I’ve increased distance, the ball goes and my dispersion is tight. Even mishits carry.

Best Apex!!

Best set of irons I’ve ever owned! Feel, forgiveness, and consistency. Finish does wear off over time but the irons make up for in performance!

These Are The Best Irons I’ve Ever Played!!

These are the best irons I’ve ever played with the ball. Coming off with a great feel. The face feels solid. Great distance, beautiful control these clubs. Feel wonderful. Love The titanium face. The one little setback about these clubs is the black color on the face does not stay, but that’s not something. I am too concerned with these are beautiful clubs. They look wonderful, and they feel and play beautifully. Love them.

Game Changer

Game changer. Im 68 yrs and they have turned my game back 20 years. I love the natural wear of the finish. I love traditional wear on clubs. It shows how well you are playing.

Chip Brewer/ceo Loves The Look Of These

Spoke to Mitchell in Warranty. Said they will not send another set after second set (see attached photo) continued to show wear beyond what is acceptable for a black iron. The rep for NYC told me Chip Brewer (CEO) has these in his bag as a 4 handicap player despite having access to future prototypes. He must not be bothered by how they look, so if it's good for Chip it must have to be good for his customers. It's beyond the pale that Callaway will not admit they messed up an otherwise excellent iron big time with this sub-standard finish.

Best Callaway Iron Ever Made.

I have played golf for 36 years. I have been a Callaway guy for 20+ years of that time. These irons are THE BEST IRONS I HAVE EVER PLAYED. The shafts have a lot to do with that I understand however the look, the feel and the distance are something I have never hit in my playing career. I'm a single digit handicap and had lost about 5 mph clubhead speed at 48 years old. These not only put me back at what I lost but gave me more distance. My misses are usually toed and penalty still puts me on the green. I can't say enough about them. My friends don't understand how switching from the Apex pro 21's to the TI Fusions put me on a totally different level. THANK YOU TO THE ENGINEERS AND R&D TEAM. You all deserve a raise and awards.

Love Them!

I bought these when they first came out. They are everything they say should be, finish not withstanding. The feel, distance, and workability is awesome. I bought mine for the titanium and the technology me not the finish. If the finish is important to you go with a club that may not perform as well, but has a finish that lasts.

Huge Disappointment

I feel ripped off. Way overpriced based on the black finish wearing off after just 4 rounds. I have a 5-year old set of black Titleist AP3s that after 250 rounds look much better than my brand new Apex Ti Fusions. Finish aside, the irons are solid, but they are no better than the competition. I regret purchasing them.

Ti Fusion Irons Perfect For My Game.

Other reviewers have already covered the wear on the black finish on these irons, so if that is a showstopper for you there is no need to read on. I purchased an entire set 3-PW, AW of these Ti Fusion irons with the stiff MCA MMT 80 shafts. They replaced my APEX 21 irons which I loved. I like the Ti Fusion irons even better. They are perfect for my game. I wanted a set of irons that were somewhere between the player improvement irons (like the Ai300 and Ai200) and the APEX Pro Irons. The Ti Fusion irons fit the bill perfectly for me. I love how sleek they look and feel, and I love the minimal offset and how these irons are thinner at the top. When I strike the ball with these Ti Fusion irons they feel so soft and smooth with great launch off the turf. They make a clean, soft sound. Even when I don't hit the ball on the sweet spot of the iron the ball seems to still go fairly well and still fairly straight, so these irons have minimal dispersion for me. They are definitely more forgiving and have less dispersion than my former APEX 21 irons. I have noticed a slight vibration in my hands sometimes, when I miss the sweet spot. The distance with these Ti Fusion irons is as good or slightly better than my APEX 21 irons and are definitely more consistent. I have found these Ti Fusion irons to be very responsive on the greens with a good spin rate making them more workable with better ball control than my APEX 21 irons. So the Ti Fusion irons are so perfect for my game, and they perform so well for me that it does not concern me if the finish wears off quickly (so far the finish has actually held up pretty well for me). Even if the finish wears off, these irons will still perform the same and that is what matters more to me.
