Great Gps For The Price.

I purchased the GPS about three weeks ago. Easy to use, large screen, and clips to my golf cart above the steering wheel. No need for mounting devices. Seems accurate and the battery life has gone 2 rounds without charging. Gives me all the distances I need. CONS: Clip is difficult to release from GPS to switch sides, however I don't move it. Also initial charging took 7 hours, but new 2-3 hours for recharge.

Easy To Use And Very Handy

Used it twice and liked it a lot. Very easy to use and very handy when you clip it to your belt. Would recommend that Calloway preload the par for each hole in the scoring mode so you don't have to start from zero when entering score on each hole. Great product. Highly recommended.

Beware

I have a u pro Callaway golf gps and it still works fine, but a year ago Callaway sent out notice that they would no longer service this product. What you have loaded on there still works, but you can no longer hook up to your computer and delete or add courses or any updates. This product cost $400.00 and with in a period of 3-4 years it's become obsolete according to them. I don't know about you, but I have a real problem with a company that puts out something that expensive and then runs south on you in a few years. I don't think I would ever buy a device like this again from Callaway.

Good Not Great Buy

Yardages were spot on to center of green when compared to sprinkler heads. Sometimes lags behind moving to next hole. Lasts 36 holes+ on a charge.

Yardage Is Way Off!

Bought this to back up a Bushnell Neo X GPS watch that was starting to have longevity issues with the battery. Sometimes I'd get 12-14 holes and other times a complete round. The Callaway Eclipse is MADE BY IZZO GOLF not by Callaway. Callaway put their name on it. What a mistake. Sometimes the yardages are off by 10-15 yards compared to the lasered sprinkler heads to the center of the greens and my Bushnell Neo X is right on. So I've compared it to another GPS unit to verify the discrepancy. Probably will return it to local store.
