Not Very High, Not Very Straight And A Strange Clicky Sound And Feel.
I bought these a couple of months ago when they were on sale, so I traded in my AI Smoke HL irons and got the Elyte X irons. I really liked the Smoke HLs so I figured the Elyte X irons would be even better. WRONG! The Elyte X irons are not as straight as the Smoke HLs, do not go as high and have a strange clicky sound and feel. I tried to return them since I had played only nine holes with them and were virtually in showroom condition and Dick's said they were not eligible for a return since the plastic was no longer on the club heads. I sold them on eBay and luckily was able to get another set of the Smoke HL irons from another online golf retailer. While I was waiting for the new HL irons to be delivered, I played my 30-year old Titleist DCIs and immediately hit the ball well again. Yesterday I played the Smoke HLs and they were perfect. I do not recommend the Elyte X irons to anyone, even if they are on sale. Get the Callaway AI Smoke HLs instead.

Great Irons
I got fitted for the Elite X irons a couple of months ago and have played 5 rounds with them since I received them (special order due to length, grip and lie adjustment). The irons are long and easy to hit but what impressed me most is the shot dispersion is pretty constant even on less than pure swings.

Had the irons for a month good height, very strait, and great feel when hitting. The 8,9,pw can hold the green on the approach shots. Lowered my score by 4/5 shots a round.
