Lightweight

Clubs are very forgiving. They are lightweight and easier for control

Beautiful Irons

The irons work exceptionally well. With the stronger lofts there was an adjustment period from my older irons.

So Far So Good

Nice clubs - traditional look and feel. The more I play with them them, the better I like the clubs.

Distance And Feel

After playing the Rogue ST irons, which frankly helped me correct a swing fault I was struggling with, I opted for a set of Elyte X and haven’t regretted it. The stronger lofts have helped restore some distance I’d lost as a now-senior golfer, and did record my best ever round a few weeks ago (-2). Good distance, solid feel. Good iron set thus far (but hanging onto the Rogues for backup).

Not Very High, Not Very Straight And A Strange Clicky Sound And Feel.

I bought these a couple of months ago when they were on sale, so I traded in my AI Smoke HL irons and got the Elyte X irons. I really liked the Smoke HLs so I figured the Elyte X irons would be even better. WRONG! The Elyte X irons are not as straight as the Smoke HLs, do not go as high and have a strange clicky sound and feel. I tried to return them since I had played only nine holes with them and were virtually in showroom condition and Dick's said they were not eligible for a return since the plastic was no longer on the club heads. I sold them on eBay and luckily was able to get another set of the Smoke HL irons from another online golf retailer. While I was waiting for the new HL irons to be delivered, I played my 30-year old Titleist DCIs and immediately hit the ball well again. Yesterday I played the Smoke HLs and they were perfect. I do not recommend the Elyte X irons to anyone, even if they are on sale. Get the Callaway AI Smoke HLs instead.
