Not For Me

I was excited when I received my Great Big Bertha driver. I immediately headed to the range. After I took a few swings, I realized something was off. The sound of the impact of the ball was different. I didn't like that. I couldn't seem to get any air under the ball. I just wrote it off as, new club, new feel. After going through a large bucket of balls, nothing changed. I played golf two days later and received the same result. The setup on the club was the same as my Maverik, so I knew that was not the answer. I decided to trade it in for the Paradym driver, which I love. The Great Big Bertha was just not for me.

Best Driver I've Ever Had

I love my '23 Great Big Bertha driver! It's added 20 yards to my drives, and I'm now having to adjust my club selections for my shots on to greens. The GBB is light weight and gives me total confidence in getting thru the ball. I purchased my GBB thru Club Champion and have a custom shaft, which I'm sure added to my increased length off the tee. Nevertheless, the GBB driver is a super club and we'll worth it's price tag to us golf fanatics.

Gbb Driver Phenomenal For Lower Swing Speeds

I live in the Midwest where it is cold until April. I’ve played the GBB Driver 5 rounds since purchase. First thing about the driver is it is lightweight and easy to swing. I bought it (although pricey) because my swing speed is in the low 80's and i am the shortest length off tee in my group. Callaway engineers did a phenomenal job with the technical aspects of this driver. GBB is 15 yards longer than any other Callaway driver I've ever hit over the past 20 years. Remarkably the advanced spin optimization hits a beautiful draw nearly every time. The club design nearly eliminates my power fade. Sounds crisp on contact. Looks beautiful at set up. A+.

Best Driver I’ve Hit Is Years…

Back in the day I had the Callaway FT Optiforce and loved it. It was light, easy to hit and really long. Since then I have struggled to find a driver with a lighter feel that didn’t feel like I was swinging a 5 pound weight on a stick. The Big Bertha driver fits the bill. The 40g shaft feels great with the lighter head. I have so much control over this club, it’s just fantastic. I can step in the tee box and just swing with confidence. Can’t say enough positive things about this club. I love it!
