Product Information:

Built for chronic slicers, the Callaway Rogue Draw Driver maximizes control and distance. A 5g weight in the heel and internal heel weighting minimize slice spin. Designed to achieve the Jailbreak Effect – elevated ball speed and distance – the Rogue combines lighter Jailbreak bars behind the face and X-Face VFT Technology for energy transfer into the ball. A Triaxial Carbon Crown pairs with the Boeing Aero Package to optimize weighting and aerodynamics.

It’s Time To Go Rogue: Selecting Your Model

  • Callaway Rogue Driver: Fixed weight in the back of the head promotes higher launch and increased MOI for greater forgiveness and playability
  • Callaway Rogue Draw Driver: Added weight in the heel moves the CG inward, enhancing gear-effect on open-faced impacts to minimize slice-spin or promote draw-spin.
  • Callaway Rogue Sub Zero Driver: Two interchangeable weights (2g and 14g) to adjust spin rate and launch angle. Put the 14g weight up front to lower spin, or in the back for a higher launch and increased MOI

Exceptional Ball Speed from the Jailbreak Effect

  • New, hourglass-shaped Jailbreak titanium bars behind the face are 25% lighter than previous model
  • Jailbreak Technology stiffens the crown and sole at impact to create more ball speed across more face area
  • Stiffer body combines with new X-Face VFT architecture to promote improved performance across an expansive area of the face
  • Jailbreak and X-Face VFT work together to create the Jailbreak Effect, which promotes a remarkable boost in ball speed and distance

  • Designed to help golfers fight the slice through the use of draw-promoting qualities
  • Combines everything Callaway knows about boosting ball speed, now in an MOI-enhancing shape
  • 5g screw in the sole near combines with internal heel weighting to move CG heelward to minimize slice-inducing spin at impact
  • X-Face VFT Architecture thickens and thins in strategic areas for high performance on off-center impacts
  • Triaxial Carbon Composite Crown redistributes weight to perimeter for increased MOI and forgiveness
  • Boeing and Callaway partnered to improve Speed Step by redefining leading edge geometry for next-gen aerodynamics
  • Larger, more forgiving 460cc footprint encourages a relaxed, free swing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rogue!!! I bought this a few weeks ago. The salesman’s name is Cal. He did a great job letting me test the driver in Dick’s new facility. Since I have been using this driver, my ball travels straight every time!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looks and feel. I am getting approximately 20 to 30 more yards per drive. I am 72 years old and no longer have the ability to hit the ball like I could as a younger man.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long and forgiving! I recently did a demo at my local golf course on the Callaway Rogue Draw driver as I was looking for those illusive few extra yards off the tee (aren't we all) but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to give up accuracy in the process. I brought along my current driver which is/was the Callaway 2014 Big Bertha, 9 degree and the Aldila Rogue Max 65 regular flex shaft with both the hozzle and sliding weight set to "draw" and the loft lowered to 8 degrees. I hit the Big Bertha decent and was down-the-middle about 90% of the time so for me to give it up is saying a lot and expecting even more from any replacement. To give just a little history about me, I am 59 years old, 14 handicap with a bad right shoulder so I am unable to take a full swing with a club and needless to say, this takes away from distance, especially off the Tee, which in turn means that I leave myself some long approach shots on many par 4s and never a chance of reaching a par 5 in 2. So, that being said, to find a Driver that could produce an extra 10 yards off the tee and still keep me in the fairway, would make a substantial difference to me. To get to the review (sorry if this is TMI) I did a little warming up to get lose and then hit my Big Bertha a few times to gauge what distance I was getting on the range and was averaging about 200 yards and my disbursement was within an 8 yard circle (about my average) and then I teed up the Rogue Draw, also a 9 degree with the hozzle set to "neutral" and no change to the stated loft. The shaft that was in the Rogue was the Aldila "Synergy" 50 regular flex. After a dozen hits, changing the settings a couple of times, I must admit that I was NOT super impressed with the results. The distance was only a couple of yards longer (at best) and the disbursement was about the same as my Big Bertha, not $500 worth of difference. Not willing to give up yet, I decided to try MY Aldila Rogue Max 65 shaft in the Rogue head and WOW, what a difference!! I was NOW hitting the Rogue driver about 15 yards LONGER than my Big Bertha and producing a consistent 5 yard DRAW with the shaft settings on "neutral and stock 9 degree"! Needless to say I ended up PURCHASING the Rogue Draw driver however what I did differently is I got one with the "Stiff" shaft so I could have a couple of options in the future. Since my purchase on 8-17, I have played 3 rounds and am in no way disappointed as my drives in both distance and accuracy have only improved. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you demo the club with a few different shafts (they should be readily available) before you make your purchase as it makes a huge difference in the performance and Callaway does offer several different shaft options at NO extra charge, although you may have to order it and wait a few days to get it but it will be well worth the wait!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ball Go Far I was looking to replace my Epic driver and paid to get a professional fitting. They had me hit every new driver on the market and I was able to hit the Rogue further and more accurately than any other competitor. So I ordered the Rogue and I absolutely love it! The ball flies far and the sound is solid every time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Driver has improved my game In the past, I have always bought off of the shelf. My son and I went to Callaway for a club fitting and after an hour+ was fitted for a set of clubs. I was fitted for a Rogue Draw driver and we went with the shaft that provided the best spin ratio providing maximum carry and accuracy. I’ve played 5 or 6 rounds and am extremely happy. I’m longer and straighter than ever. The club looks good, and the ball sounds good coming off of the face. I would definitely recommend the Rogue drivers, but even more important, proper fitting from a professional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations Played my first round today and was flabbergasted with the results. I thought there would be a learning curve but I was pleasantly surprised that the rogue draw performed terrific off the first tee. My first drive had a slight draw something I have not seen for a long time. Best part is I picked up 10-14 yards with all my drives. Looking forward to my next round.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Is the "Draw" head the best fit for me? I was fitted at your performance facility for a "Rogue Draw" driver. Since I received it, I have no idea where it is going. So, I spent $500 on a club that I'll probably never use on the course. I'm still very accurate and nearly as long with my Titleist 915D. I wish that I'd hit this club outdoors to see how it flew. Maybe, the base "Rogue" head would have been better. I also prefer the "cleaner" look of the Titleist driver. BTW, I love my Rogue 3-wood. It's the best fairway wood I've ever had. Is it a "Draw" head, or a "base" head?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epic versus Rogue I bought the Epic driver when it 1st came out, could not hit it and had a very small sweet spot since I have had 3 back surgeries and a broken wrist it was very hard to hit it, gave it to a good friend without as many medical issues as me, and he is happy! The Rogue Draw driver I just bought is VERY FORGIVING! Bigger sweet spot and more forgiving. I took my XR16 and Rogue to the same course the other day, I was hitting the Rogue about 30-50 yards further than the XR16, both went where I aimed, bit more control with neutral settings on Rogue. I also did a PROV1 and Super Soft comparison, Super Softs went 20-30 yards further as well. The same golfer with same medical issues. Go, Callaway.
