Nothing Feels Like Callaway X.

Hit it pure once, then you can't turn back... The true forged soft feeling off the face is unreal! I made sure I tried the cavity back irons from all the major brands before buying. My conclusion is this is better than any other forged cavity back clubs, including Mizuno 223. Also, quite forgiving! I moved from game improvement to this club, love it!

Soft And Buttery

I purchased these irons a couple of months ago and, boy am I in love. Ball flys off the face and mt accuracy has improved greatly. I was a little worried about the reduction in club head size until I took a few swings. Not any more!!! This is one purchase I'm glad I made. My partners, not so much. They've been paying the price every since. Thanks callaway for the great clubs. Job well done!!!

Excellent Long Iron With Feel For Advanced Player

I used these as the long irons in a split bag as I love the Apex MB's for the short irons. These CBs give you a little more forgiveness without sacrificing a lot of feel.

Solid Contact And Workability.

Took me a few rounds to get used to them but the contact is solid yielding consistent distances.

Not For A Low Handicap

Feels like a cast club more than a forged . Can not tell on the face where the ball was struck . Feels clunky at impact .

Very High Quality Product

I have played Mizuno MP irons for more than 15 years now. This has been my first set of irons from another manufacturer. I was very pleasantly surpised at how fast I received these clubs from the time I ordered them. I asked for different shfts and grips than the standard set from Callaway in this line and they still showed up in less than 1 week. The quality and the feel of these clubs turned out to be better than anticipated. I was able to spend one day at the golf range and felt comfortable putting them in my bag for my next round.

Incredible Consistency

These are excellent irons. For whatever reason the X Forged family always flies under the radar but I'm incredibly happy that Callaway still sees fit to create this product line. The new 2021 X Forged CB irons are some of the best feeling irons I've played to date. They have a special dense/solid feel to them and are a pleasure to hit. You know exactly where you hit on the face through the feedback provided to your hands. Nothing feels better than a pure shot! Sound is nicely muted and well struck shots are always predictable and repeatable. I've not had any unexpected fliers or puzzling thoughts on why a ball did what it did once it left the club face. The only issue I've had with my set are the ferrules wanted to keep slipping down and creating a gap. Nothing that wasn't easily cured with a dab of superglue though. Other than that I can't say a bad thing!

Good looking club head at address, picking up a few yards from my RAZR X MBs - good forgiveness and better ball flight...great feel and playability. Ordered these custom. Kudos to Callaway for practically overnighting them once they were assembled with everything going on with supply chain these days during the pandemic

Made Me Switch Brands.

I have been a TaylorMade guy for along time. I am still currently playing their Woods and UDI. I was playing their P*7MC 7-9 and P*770 3-6. I tried these new X Forged CB irons and immediately put them in the bag. I paired them with the DG Tour Issue S400 at .25 long. Super pure iron. Excited to get the year going.

Been Waiting Over A Month

when I hit these at the golf shop I fell in love. Unfortunately the 2 weeks the golf shop told me it would take has turned into close to two months. I love Callaway, though I just want them to be realistic in their shipping times. It's very frustrating when spending this kind of money.

Finally Got Them Out!!!

I have had incredible success with my 2009 Apex Forged Irons, but it was time for something fresh. For the first time ever, I bought a set of Irons unseen and never had a chance to hit them. I have been in the golf business since 1991 doing fitting and sales, and I took my shot knowing how Callaway works. I ordered the X CB Forged and had them built to my specs as soon as they were available. They got to my door in 10 days, and so was winter. With highs in the low 50's today and 15-25 mph winds, it was go time. These Irons are amazing! I had not played since August, due to surgery, and I was amazed at the flight, feel and performance. Playing the up tees with a couple friends today, I was hitting the 3 Iron with ease and precision. So much fun! These Irons are absolutely amazing!!!!
