Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy My good drives go an extra 15+ yards further over my last driver. Drives stay a lot straighter. When I misshit, I do not get in as much trouble as my last driver. Happy with the purchase and the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More forgiving and good distance I went to my local Dick's with the intention of buying a Taylor Made M2 driver that was on sale. I hit the M2 in to a simulator and had the expected results...to the point that the clerk had the M2 head cover on the counter ready for my purchase. I had a few extra minutes to spare and had not hit a Callaway since the early Big Bertha days so for kicks I decided to hit a few balls with the Calloway XR16. Much to my surprise I consistently hit the Callaway XR16 straighter, with more trajectory and longer than the TM M2. I bought the Callaway and could not be happier.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good driver but I bought the wrong shaft The XR 16 is a pretty good driver, but I bought the wrong shaft. I'm 72 and usually get about 180 yards off the tee and land on the fairway or a foot or two in the rough on the right. But lately I've been losing some yardage, so I opted for the senior shaft. It proved to be too light and flexible for my swing and I'm not thrilled with the performance. I'm pushing some drives into the left rough. Never did that before. I'm convinced the lighter shaft has messed up my drives. I recently hit my friend's XR 16 with a regular shaft. It felt better and I hit it straight and long. So I'll either go back to using my old driver, or change the shaft on my XR 16.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Changed fromTaylormade Bought a month ago. Have played twice. Usually swung a stiff shaft. Took it back and changed to a regular. Swinging easier and killing it. Lower height but straight and smooth. Different sound. Thinking of the 3 wood. Stepped up from a Taylormade Jetspeed
