Great Canelbak

Bought this for a run since my old one was looking a bit nasty! It was a great purchase!

Great Pack

Went to a music festival and needed a smaller pack than the one my backpack came with so bought this one to replace it

Better Camelbak Than Previous Model

The CamelBak Reservoir was easy to use and I was able to adapt it in an older backpack I use for backpacking. The newer style mouth piece does allow the flow to be increased and to be shut off better.

Pricey, But Great

I use this to drink water while riding motorcycles. After a few washes, the plastic taste completely goes away, and the water stays cold even in 90 degree weather in my bag. Keeps 2L in a small footprint, but I do wish it was wider and less taller.

Love It

My son used it for his 10 day camping trip. Fits perfectly in his backpack. Do wish they had an installated one.

I Really Like That You've

I really like that you've now got an on/off switch right at the bite valve. Another nice feature is that the water tube can be detached from the reservoir. Now I can blow air through it using a bicycle pump with a cone attachment to dry out that tube, so water borne microbes don't grow in that tube. The mouth itself is plenty wide enough so I can insert my hand and dry out the inside with paper towels. I only use water in mine but I know that water will stay fresh and clean because I usually fill my reservoir the night before so I can just get up and drive to the charity ride without having to worry about forgetting anything.

As Long As You Really

As long as you really crank the lid down it’s a dream

Not Happy With The Lid.

Not happy with the lid. During my 50 mile race after only using this bladder less than 5 times the lid completely detached from the ring that holds the lid to the bladder. Minor inconvenience during a tough race.

It's Overall Good. . Just Do

It's overall good. . Just do not know the purpose of the partition inside to separate the water in to two compartments.

Started Leaking

I used this to hike with a handful of times within a year and the bottom where the tube snaps into started to leak. No apparent reason. Nothing was broken and it would still snap in snuggly, so it was a mystery. I had to toss it.

Leaks Like Crazy

We bought these for a biking trip after using the 2L and loving them. Unfortunately, they have been leaking nonstop. Definitely worse over time, but it’s gotten to the point we need to put garbage bags over the bladder, which helps for a couple hours. We’ll go into restaurants and put them on the back of a chair, and when we leave there’s a puddle on the floor. It’s bad. We’ve tried checking the o-ring, hose connections, and make sure everything is sealed but nothing has helped.

I Absolutely Love It. I

I absolutely love it. I bring it and the pack with me to the gym and I can carry all my gym stuff with me. I'm ready for whatever life throws at me

Leaks

I used it daily for walking during the heat of summer, it started out great but only lasted 2 weeks. A leak started around the point where the tube is connected to the pouch, not from the seals but between the pouch and receptical. Can't use it without water running down my back. Would have been 5 stars if it didn't leak but 2 weeks worth of use. Very poor.

Haven’t Had A Chance To

Haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but I like the tube disconnect and the shutoff.
