[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the pack, but the cargo space is limited. Enough to maybe carry a top layer, but not much else. Still exactly what I was looking for for a MTB pack.

I bought this pack for mountain bike riding in cooler weather to carry an extra layer in addition to a rain shell. I didn’t want a larger 20+ L pack, so thought this one, cargo capacity initially listed at 7L, would be perfect. Bottom line, I can fit a Gore jacket OR a thermal layer into the very hard to load storage compartment. Overall, I rated it a 3. But, there is a wide range of good and bad features, so here are details. Fit is excellent, comfortable on first use and 2 months later. Does not shift around on technical descents. Waist belt is small but well designed (does not loosen). Appreciate chest strap can be adjusted easily. Well designed pockets. Tool pocket with mesh sub-pockets. Smaller pocket for keys with lanyard. Cargo area for water also has a mesh pocket Very hard to load the pack- both water and any “cargo”. Seems to be due to excess flex in the back panel. Poor design on the outside straps, aka helmet carry. The location, right above the side mesh pockets makes it so very hard to get things in/out. Again, hard to load even a light jacket into the outside area under the tool pocket since these straps do not have clips which open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my husband to use while mountain biking. It is perfect for him because it is lightweight but still has room for his bike tool, pump, flashlight and first aid kit.

Bought it knowing it wasn't close to 9L, but even then was disappointed in the lack of expansion.

I have mine for 4 years, no complaints... so comfortable even when filled at its full capacity and other stuff for the track...

The pack is great, lots of pockets and plenty of space to store snacks, tools, vest/jacket, cell phone, and other needed supplies. The bladder (crux) on the other hand is terrible. I tested it the night before its first planned use and discovered it leaks horribly! I've tried various hack tricks to get to stop the leaking but with no success. I've been using an old bladder from a running Camelbak just so I could use the pack. I also ordered a new bladder of a different design to replace the never used bladder. Camelbak should send replacements to all who purchased the flawed Crux bladder.

Just got this pack, filled it up and put it on. Adjusted every strap and re routed the water hose. There is no way this going to fit a pb&j let alone another 4 liters of anything. I’m not sure you could make it any more uncomfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought it a month ago and we are very pleased with the camelback lobo hydration system. The system is a comfortable fit. The hydration system is easy to use and a smart design. I like the extra pockets and zipper compartments.

So happy I splurged and bought this! Well designed with good pockets. No complaints!

I’ve had the pack for over a month, works really well for longer trail rides. I am able to carry a pump, extra tube, multi tool as well as an energy bar, keys and smart phone without the pack seeming over loaded or bulky. Traditionally not a fan of riding with packs but this works so well and is great for staying hydrated. Unexpected bonus is my helmet easily clips to the pack when done riding allowing for easier storage. Only difficulty has been filling the bladder, but after a few tries I’m not spilling water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hydration pack was perfect for a day-long bike trip through the mountains. I had my hydration, snacks, and place for my phone and wallet. It is not too bulky either.

Did Camelbak sellout to some cooperate overlord? 9L is a joke, 4.5 L maybe. If you fill the 3 L bladder, you'll be lucky to fit a lite shell and a pb&j sandwich. The magnet retention system can only be on the left side, and not moved to the right side. All bladders from Camelbak have a hook on top so it won't settle in your pack with everything else, great, but there is no loop on the inside top of the Lobo pack to attach the hook to. I have a 2L bladder as well, but can't reasonably use it, b/c it ends up in the bottom of the pack. The waist belt has the consistency of a sleeping pad strap on a backpacking pack. A few small tweaks and a realistic volume would make this a much better product.

I was looking for a bag to hold everything I’d need while exercising outdoors. This is exactly what o needed!
