Not Very Safe A Windy Hunting Trip

It is lightweight compact, but when put into a wall tent on a hunting trip, the wind blows lift the top of the wall up, pulling pipe out of stove. There’s nothing to connect the pipe to the stove to keep the pipe from pulling out of the stove It is a very bad design should have collar on the stove top so at least you can pin pipe to the collar on top of stove

Can't Beat The Camp Chef C14

Dicks delivered fast!! The CS14 is a great stove all the way around

Had For Several Years Now.

Still works fine. The original stove pipe is rotted out and I need a new one. A big idea would be to develop packable braces to hold the pipe if you are using it outdoors in the open.

Great Stove, Great Value

We bought this stove to heat our tent when elk hunting in the mountains. This past season we were in the mountains of Montana and had some nights in the 20s and a few days with highs in the 30s. This Alpine stove kept our 13ft X 20ft wall tent cozy warm. We normally are camped for a 2 week stretch and installed an in-line spark arrestor as shown in the photos, for ease of cleaning. We also protected the floor under the stove with a welding blanket. The racks on the side of the stove were very handy for quick drying of socks and gloves. Another thing I really like is that everything fits inside the stove when packing. That sure saves valuable space. I highly recommend the Camp Chef Alpine!

Excellent Heat! Easy To Assemble

Bought this a couple months ago from an online vendor due to CC being out of stock. Assembly was straight forward and all the components pack back up into the stove for storage. Large enough to put full 16" long split log pieces into and when I had it 1/2 full, it blew me out of the tent. I had to damper it down. I believe I made the right purchase. The chimney pipes are tapered to fit inside each other, the smallest end at the stove is 5-1/4", largest end is 6-1/4" Outer diameter. There's plenty of pipe to extend above the tent. The spark arrestor screen gets clogged up a little, but if you stay on top of it you're fine. I would recommend this stove hands down!
