Great Addition To The Sidekick
There's not much to say about the griddle, in the end it's a piece of metal that does what it's supposed to do. It's easy to clean and maintain, the bacon and other food you cook come out very nicely cooked. The only reason why it gets 4 stars it's mainly due to the fact that there are parts where it's hotter than others and it might cook things unevenly if you don't know where these are. Overall, a good purchase that will last for years.

Bought the new style sidekick and really do not like it at all burnt everything cannot control temp so got griddle to use on sidekick and it is a little better able to control heat but not near as good as old sidekick.

This is an indispensable tool for cooking for many. I used this to cook gyros for 200 folks with great success. Heat dispersed well, and it stays hot for radiant heat and continuity. It gets hot so plan to sweat! If you cooking. A grease trap is offered as an accessory but should be standard. Grease will flow out and all over the leg of the stove/floor. Placed a cup in the provided hanging holder but the cup melted quickly. Also, a carrying bag should be standard.

Bumpy Griddle!!!
This griddle is so bumpy! You have to really use it and clean it A LOT to wear down the bumps! If I knew this prior to purchasing it, I would've looked elsewhere for a smoother surface griddle.

Excellent Griddle
I've had this griddle for almost 2 years and it is without a doubt one of the best purchases I've ever made. While the stove and griddle are excellent for camping, they have found use year round on my deck. I use the griddle for all my weekend breakfasts, and the burner is extremely handy should you need to heat a large volume of water in a short period of time (compared to using the electric stovetop in the kitchen). What impresses me the most about this griddle is how well the non-stick surface has performed. I have cast iron pans that I've meticulously maintained the patina on for over a decade, and this griddle that's in the elements out on the deck with minimal maintenance outperforms those cast iron pans by a long shot. Best cast iron I have. Period.
