Won't Last Long.

I got this as a gift 6 years ago. I replaced the malfunctioned controller with a wifi model 2 years ago. This year, I noticed the tube that holds the auger is rusted and dumping pellets in the channel that holds it. Big fire hazard now and they don't sell that part! Sadly, I just bought my brother one just like it for Christmas.

Honest Opinion Review.

Build quality is not nearly as good as the first gen. The legs are not stable and wobble. The new control is awesome! I am disappointed about the lower quality gauge metal used. I used to have a first generation of the dlx and loved it!! The burner and fan finally went out! Was such a tough grill!!

Get Something Else And Save On Aggravation.

I've had my DLX for ~5 yrs. When it works, it's such a relief. I shouldn't feel "relieved" when this works. I'm now requesting my THIRD temperature probe after also replacing the hot rod last mo. I smoke something about every 6 weeks. I would smoke more, but something always needs to be replaced. My brother and another friend have had a Traeger longer than I've had my DLX. Both are left outside and neither has had to replace anything. I would not recommend this product.
