The magnetic paper towel holder is a good idea but the design has a lot of room for improvement. Others have written about how cumbersome it is to load a new roll. The other thing that I haven't read yet but is very frustrating is that there is no spring-like finger to hold the roll and prevent the wind from unraveling. Even with the smallest of breeze, a new roll last minutes before it's completely unraveled and blowing in the wind. A simple spring-like holder could easily prevent that. I'm hoping that Camp Chef redesigns this in a version #2 and also sends me one for my frustration. :)

I really wanted to like this, it's a great concept. The small metal bar creates no tension whatsoever so with the slightest breeze you will watch your paper towels unroll and fly into the wind.

Bought this but it doesn’t hold the roll of towels we’ll, when you pull to get a towel the towel roll comes off the holder.

Bought this at the beginning of summer to use at our seasonal camping site when using our Camp Chef grill and stove. I love that it's magnetic, so can locate it to pretty much anywhere on our grill or stove, and the magnets are strong. However - it's difficult to place the rod into the slots with a roll of paper towel attached, which may be just my own older/arthritic fingers, and then, there is no way to secure the rod in the slots, so the slightest tugging on the paper towel causes the whole thing to come apart. I'm waiting for some small flat clips to keep the towel rod in the slots, and hope to love this tool, finally.
