The blanket is heavy duty and helps with making sure the grill gets up and stays at temperature, even at -5°. However, the magnets are terrible and don’t keep the blanket on or in place. Every time I open the lid the blanket falls completely off the grill unless I’m holding the blanket on.

Seems well made, but how will I wash it when the inevitable grease condenses and collects especially around the exhaust vents on the fiberglass fabric?

So my woodwind pro can’t get past 350 when it’s 45 degrees out, never had this issue with my GMG. So I purchased the blanket. It attaches with 5-6 magnets. Open the lid briefly and it shifts. Open it for 30-45 seconds to remove your meat and it plain falls off the back. What a joke. At least design it to loop over the handle so it has a chance of staying on… oh and with the blanket, camp chef oak pellets, in 40 degrees no wind, the woodwind could barely push 380 degrees.
The design appeared to be "on track" when I installed the blanket. However, each time you open the lid, the magnets are not strong enough to hold the blanket in place. After a few times, the holes in the back are misaligned with the vent openings and it looks pretty awful. You have to go to the front of the grill and pull down on the front so it will pull the back up. This is one of those, "IF the engineers actually USED the things they designed, they would work."

Camp Chef was lazy and just put a label on the product box. No shipping box! Thanks for showing the whole neighborhood what I ordered so it was easy to steal. My experience with Camp Chef lazy shipping on the blanket made me regret spending $1200 on one of their grills.
