Black Tricams Are The Secret To Classic Routes!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The black tricam is the best! I had a pink for old pin scars and on one trip I borrowed a friend's .25...it fit so many more places. Now it's my go-to on routes with history. It hangs so lightly, slots so easily, holds so securely, removes so smoothly. If you don't know how to place (or remove) a tricam, now's your time to learn! Your game will definitely change.

Little Black Has Your Back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little black tricams are by far the best. Passive or camming, they pass the test. Some followers cleaning claim that they are a pest, but placed well and securely, you’ll all feel blessed!

Sink The Pink

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The. Pink. Tricam. You're not a real trad daddy until you place one of these. Couple it with a pink racking biner for real style points. These fit where no other pro does and lend themselves especially well on sketchy flares where you would never trust whipping on a cam. As others have mentioned, do a dry run with your second on the ground to make sure they are comfortable removing. Once you figure it out, they become a real confidence inspiring piece.

Love It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a fan of tricams. I've been finding plenty of placements in my climbing and have been saving on needing to place cams. Great way to double up some sizes on your rack at a lower cost. Also, if you spend a minute or two explaining tricams to your followers (or better yet, practice placing em and taking em out on the ground with your partners) it'll spare you the difficult-to-clean problem these things are known for.

Just Bomber Gear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lighter than a cam, more versatile than a nut. Tricams are great pieces for building anchors. You can trust them not to blow. They’ll also save you cams for that next pitch.

It's A Tricam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pink tricam gets all the popularity and cult following, but the black one is really the best. This is my third black tricam, I have no regrets.

It's A Pink Tricam. Enough Said.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't placed it yet, but it's a pink tricam. Of course I'm gonna give it 5 stars.........................................................

Stiffer Sling Is Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to supplement my rack of dyneema tricams that I have had for years. Now that I climb in the Gunks regularly, I thought it might be good to have the smallest size, as well. The stiffer sling on this version makes them much easier to place. It's a great piece of gear when you need it, but they're fairly specific in their utility and can be a pain to clean, hence the 4 stars. However, this is a definite improvement on the design.

The Pink

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is BOMBER if you place it correctly, which takes a bit of time. It will hold like none other. I don't know much about black and white, but I bought the pink and have used a red and I love them. Just be sure to warn your second if you use it, as the can sometimes be a pain to remove.

Improved Design.

I've been rebuilding my rack from a complete loss and picked up the #1 Tricam because it offers good versatility. It's not a replacement for a true cam or a set of nuts, but it does perform either duty in an affordable package. I much prefer the newer Evo line with the stiffer webbing, it helps enormously with setting and clearing.
