Why Am I Getting A Used Camwood Training Bat?

Looks like I bought a used training camwood bat. The handle is very dirty and the grip are peeling off. This is not a new bat!

Helpful Tool

I bought this for my daughters who play year around softball. They have been using it for few weeks and have been happy with results so far. They feel like it has made them stronger. The only down side so far is that one of my daughters did have bruising near her wrist area from the bat.
