Inseam Is Under 6.5", Not 8", And These Are Not High Waisted

These are super-short! They are described as having an 8" inseam, but the inseam in size small is under 6.5". Also, the waist is not high compared to the shorts I am trying to replace. The overall profile is square -- In fact, they look a little wider than the full top-to-bottom length.
