Weight Bags

Easy to carry and attach to canopy pole.being able to secure the top of each pocket would help

Excellent Buy

Took our new canopy to the beach so I filled the bags with sand and strapped them to the canopy ' s legs and had no issues with the wind. A must buy for any canopy owner.

Good On Gazebo In High-wind Area

We use these weight bags, filled with pea gravel, on the four posts of our garden gazebo (metal frame with sun-fabric top and sides). Our area frequently gets strong winds of 20-80 mph. Since using these bags, the gazebo no longer lifts up nor moves at all. The strong material holds up well to sun, wind, and rain; there is no sign of deterioration after one year. Hint: if you don't like the black color, wrap a scrap piece of colored sun-fabric around it. The only thing I can recommend the manufacturer to improve would be to add a 2nd strap, so that there's one on top and one near the bottom; in the meantime, you can do this yourself by buying straps at a hardware store or outdoors store.

Works Well But Not What I Expected

I must not have read the description well because I expected the weights to come with the sand. These are just canvas tubes. A bit expensive when I have to supply the weight myself each time I use them. Would recommend with a qualifier.

Good Quality

I used the weight bags for the first time at a four day music festival. We set up in the rain and expected wind so we used the bags. I filled them with pea pebbles which worked really well. It never got really windy so I don't know for sure how they would have held up, but the bags are made with a heavy material and once in place they stayed there. Overall I thought they were a little pricey but they are made of good quality material so in this case you get what you pay for.

Must Have

I have owned caravan shelters for many years. The problem with my set-up are that the stakes included are sometimes not enough or i will be on asphalt. These weight bags are perfect for those extra windy days when you must set-up and cannot properly secure. easy velcro straps attached to the lower legs and thats it!!!! Set it and forget it. Stop buying a canopy and letting the wind destroy it, with this set, it's not going anywhere.
