Super Nice Lightweight (Spring & Fall) Jacket

Carhartt quality as expected. luckily I read the reviews first, and listened to their advice and ordered a size up, because I know I'm a weird size and Carhart clothing (usually) doesn't fit me good because I'm short and fat. To put in perspective I am 5'5" 170lbs with a beer gut, and I usually wear medium Carhartt jackets and hoodies but this style Jacket I tried on at the store, and the medium was a little tight. Ordered a Large straight from Carhartt website and it fits perfectly. I still have plenty of room to move around even with a hoodie underneath it. Nice waterproof material. I almost got a black one but decided to get Navy blue and I'm glad I did. looks really nice. Its lightweight, and warm but not too warm. Perfect for spring and fall when the weather and temperature changes constantly. Here in Northern Michigan in the springtime, it can be 30 degrees at 7am and 60 degrees at noon. lots of big pockets. One thing I thought was strange is, on the the inner left side of the jacket it has a weird pass through pocket (picture below) which I'm not sure what the purpose is for it. As far as shipping time, its pretty decent. Took about a week to get it in the mail from UPS. think the tracking said it came from Lexington Kentucky. overall I'm a pretty happy camper.

Tough Sofshell

The outer material on this jacket seems very durable. 5'11 185lbs, athletic build, size large and the fit is great. Tight in the forearms at least for me, because of this I cannot fit a sweater underneath, but that is fine as this is not meant for brutal cold. Room enough in the chest and body of the jacket for a thick vest. Seems wind proof and water beads up well. I would have given it five stars, but it is the loudest jacket I have ever worn. Fine for hiking, work, other outdoor activities where stealth is not needed. I wouldn't wear it hunting due to the noise level when the material rubs together. Overall, great jacket in fit and function.

Rain Defender Jacket

Great jacket. Perfect L sizing for me being 5'11" and 180lbs. The shell is very few wind resistant and water repellant. And it seems it will be very durable in the normal Carhartt standards.

Outstanding Shell

Great shell. Sleeves are tight, and about 1.5" too long. However paired with light fleece, outstanding windproof and light rain barrier. Main Zipper and Pocket Zippers are outstanding. Moss green is unusual but very appealing. Overall, really good purchase. Would buy again! Pete in No. Virginia
