Received incentive

Not What I Expected

I ordered these Carhartt trousers to wear while doing yard work, given Carhartt’s reputation for manufacturing durable work & outdoor clothing. The fabric was lightweight, which was desirable since I live in southwest Alabama where we have oppressively hot, humid weather 7-8 months out of the year. And, despite being lightweight, I was reasonably confident the trousers would be durable. However, the legs of the pants were so tapered at the bottom that they wouldn’t fit over the boots I wear while working in my yard & felt uncomfortably restrictive on my thighs. Furthermore, the trousers have a “comfort” waist & are only offered in even sizes; I wear size 35 trousers so I ordered these trousers in size 36 rather than risking ordering size 34 that would likely be too small…big mistake as the larger size, coupled with the “comfort” waist made them way too roomy in the waist. Needless to say, I returned them to Dick’s Sporting Goods for credit.
