About This Item
The Active Jac has been a favorite on American ranches, farms, and factory floors since its release in the '70s. Built to move, this modern version is designed with stretch panels across the back and elbows. It's cut from warm fleece-lined duck that feels broken-in from the start. Previously known as the Full Swing® Armstrong Active Jacket. Full Swing was developed with insight from our Carhartt Crew, a group of hardworking folks who wear our gear on the job day in and day out and let us know what they really think.
Fit & Design:
Fleece-lined hood with adjustable drawcord closure
Left-chest pocket with zipper; two lower-front pockets
Inside pocket with hook-and-loop closure and zipper
Features stretch across the shoulders, arms that move free without the jacket riding up, and a bigger bend in the elbows
Carhartt-strong, triple-stitched main seams
Internal rib-knit storm cuffs; Rib-knit waist
Technology:
Carhartt Full Swing® technology to improve the way you move whether you're bailing hay or chopping firewood.
I love the jacket but just keep in mind that they do not sell the red duck patch kit for it yet. Also watch out for the loyalty points program. It says that I have successfully enrolled each time I click it but I still have not received the loyalty points. Idk about you guys but it really makes me angry.

Tough Enough For The Elements And Environment
Great jacket. Super warm. Wore it while on vacation in NYC. Walking for hours in 20-30 degree weather with a sweater under and was warm. Some points even having to unzip the jacket to cool off a little. Durable material. Didn't worry about it ripping while traveling. Definitely tough enough for the elements and environment. I wear a sixe XL t shirt and went with a L jacket. 6' tall, 205 lbs. Shoulder gussets allow extended movement. Jacket fits amazing.

Improved Active Jacket Worth Updating
Own the "regular" active jacket and the Sherpa lined utility jacket. This jacket is a big improvement over the regular active jacket in the following ways: -The zipper comes up further, closer to the chin which helps keep the wind out. There is also a soft touch suede material where it contacts your chin and neck area. - better/more pockets. The main hand pockets are all soft material inside. The active jacket part is soft and part is duck. I also believe the hand pockets are deeper - the full swing feature definitely helps with the range of motion. The active jacket isn't bad but the sleeves get pulled up when you reach. The full swing active does not. I have seen some reviews that say the quilted material inside gets cold to the touch. It does but it's not bad and I won't say cold more like cooler. The utility Sherpa lined jacket feels cozier because of the fuzzy Sherpa but not warmer if that makes sense. The full swing active is heavier and the quilted lining keeps the heat in better. Just walked the dogs, it's a 30F degree night and I just had a cotton tee shirt on under and was very comfortable. Great jacket and big improvements over the "regular" active jacket. I'm 6'1 235lbs muscular build with broad shoulders, wide back and bigger arms. Because of this I've always loved the roomy Carhartt jackets. I ordered an XL regular and fits well.

Horrible Service
I ordered a man’s carhartt jacket and was sent a children’s north face. When I called customer service to fix the issue I was told I have to come out of pocket for another $175 to reorder something I purchased as a gift. I live an hour from the closest store. I’m so upset!!!!!
