Excellent Vest For Outdoors And Indoors

I don't typically wear vests but got this Carhartt rain defender vest on sale and it is everything you would ever want in a vest. It is roomy but still fits great; I typically wear a size Large and I am 6' 195lbs and only needed to cinch the waist a tiny bit so there was a little breathing room but also some compression to avoid drafts. The material is soft on the inside and the outer shell is slick and should protect from rain as well as some minor food spills. I like that there are so many storage pockets on the outside and inside of the vest. I had concerns with the blue colorway but it actually looks very nice in-person and goes well with flannels or even a earth-tone t-shirt.

Solid Construction

As expected from Carhartt construction is good. Color does not look as flashy as in the photos and enough pockets - as I needed from a vest. Detailing around neck is comfortable.

Great, Customer Service Needs Some Work

Great product. Got it for Father’s Day gift. Didn’t like the customer service. James, active listening goes a long way to the customer. Don’t interrupt a customer mid sentence when he’s trying to explain something in regards to the pickup app.

love these carhartt vests, doesnt feel bulky but insulated enough to stay warm. sometimes carhartt sizes are to big, this one fits as it should. buy your usual size.

I was a little disappointed in the vest as I misread the advertisement. I was looking for a down vest, but this is ok.

I previously bought a Gilliam vest a few years back and it still wears well today i'm sure these two will be part of my fall and winter clothing choices for many years
