Nice Jacket

I got this on sale with a discontinued color. I kinda wish I had picked up two! It's a nice jacket, easy to layer under for more warmth, but fine on its own. Good pockets. I like the cuffs so it keeps me covered well. I live in the PNW, in an area famous for our rainy season, and it's been great for keeping me dry when I'm out doing farm chores this fall and winter. It also does well in the washer, no special settings.

I brought this jacket about a month ago fits nice warm rain runs right off of it

Not Water Repellent

I love this jacket, but it does not repel water at all. I was out in the rain for 5 minutes and I was soaked through. Not what I expect from an expensive Carhartt jacket. Pros are that it's warm and comfortable, as long as you don't get it wet. Rain Defender-not.

Solid Jacket For Cold And Wet Days

The jacket keeps me warm and dry even in the rain the defender shell keeps the water out and handles the cold when it was -6 the wind was 40 mph and it still kept me warm. Hood is secure with the side cords to really seal you in it’s great for east coast weather with rain and snow coming through it handles both well.

I like the jacket. I got a large tall and I really like the size. I am 6'3, 190lbs and the length is great. Well made, warm and more comfortable than the firm duck active jack.

The coat is really short, if you bend over it rises up to expose your back. It also makes you look like a block.

Great Alternative
