Solid Performance, Minor Durability & Color Issues

I really like this sweatshirt overall-it's a solid, heavyweight piece that performs well in tough conditions. The first day I wore it, it was 38 degrees with freezing drizzle, and I used it as an outer layer. It held up well. The rib-knit cuffs and waistband kept the wind out, while the mock-neck collar and hood kept my neck and head warm. It also shed light rain better than expected. I'm knocking off one star for two reasons. First, the color-I ordered Dark Tranquil Blue Heather, but what I received is noticeably lighter than shown online. Not a bad color, just not as pictured. Second, a durability concern. The material on the sides is already showing wear from reflective armbands I use regularly, which I didn't expect from a Carhartt product. Overall, still a warm, well-built sweatshirt, and the mock-neck collar is a great feature.

Heavy And Tough

I bought these for spring wear , like it very much a bit heavy then the regular hoodies , i guess its becuz its for a outdoor working people , but loving it

Outstanding

Bought this for the cold fronts that hit unexpectedly in early spring to go with the rain. Stood up too both while out on open water fishing. Highly recommend, great product as always!

Sizing

If you have a long torso get the tall. I got a 2xl regular and should have gotten a tall. It's runs a little short and a little bigger than size

Piling Fabric

Love my 1/4 zip. It is heather gray. My only issue is it is developing little balls of fabric. Even before washing. Would expect more from this at the price point.

Perfect Gift

My husband LOVES it. It's a little big, but perfect for if he wanted to add multiple layers under. Otherwise if he didn't want to layer I should have bought him a medium.
