Love the Sherpa lined fleece and went with the XL for a baggy fit. I’m 5’ 10” and 215 pounds

I bought this about a month ago and have been happy with it. It is warm, water repellant, and comfortable. I will say, I ordered an XL and it seems to be a bit big, but not to the point of being unusable.

I was searching to find a zip up jacket for working purposes and I wanted something that had a fleece or thermal lining. Once I finally got the jacket on and put it on I was immediately disappointed I didn’t even try putting it on. I own 2 rain defender hoodies and had no issues.

Ordered 2 Carhartt zip up hoodies 1 Thermal lined and 1 sherpa lined. Sent both Back. Disappointed in the "New" Carhartt Quality. The new outer material is cheaper and not as durable as older Carhartt as well as a cheaper lighter zipper. But Carhartt is charging more for there products. The sleaves are not sherpa lined and just have a thin linning that is not even attached to the outer shell and the cold blows right through. The overall thickness/warmth of the jackets is thinner and cheaper as well. The new design on the pockets is not very good the flap makes it hard to just put your hand in and the Hidden/Tech pocket is not even big enough to fit a cell phone. I have had 2 Carhartt zip up thermal lined sweatshirts for over 10 years now and they still look aswosome have lost a lot of weight and was looking for new proper fitting jackets so went back to Carhartt to discover the quality is no longer present and most definatley not worth the price any longer. Like all other companies they have gone south to save money and charge more for a cheaper less quality product. I will be looking for a new go to brand as Carhartt has sold out..

Purchased for my father as a gift so he would have something warm to work outside in. He wears it everyday, everywhere. Loves the soft warmth it provides.

Bought the Carhartt Men’s Rain Defender Rockland Sherpa-Lined Hooded Sweatshirt for my son for Christmas, and it was a total win. He’s been begging for a Carhartt but hates bulky coats—this hoodie is the perfect middle ground. The Sherpa lining keeps him warm, but the hoodie style fits his vibe, so he’ll actually wear it (and keep it on) all day at high school. Warm without the bulk = parent victory. Bonus points for customer service. The item showed in stock online but wasn’t on the rack. A store associate who was restocking jumped right in, found it in the back, and had it in my hands in under 10 minutes. All of this happened two days before Christmas. Smooth, fast, and stress-free. Loved the product, loved the experience. Would absolutely buy again.
