Warm, Rugged Shirt Jacket With The Classic Loose Carhartt Fit

I’ve always liked Carhartt stuff because it tends to hold up well, and this shirt jacket feels no different. The denim material feels thick and durable without being stiff right out of the box. It has a nice weight to it and works really well as an extra layer on cooler mornings or evenings. The blanket style lining adds warmth without making it feel bulky, and I can already tell the denim is going to break in nicely over time with regular wear. Fit wise, this is definitely true to classic Carhartt sizing. It runs loose and roomy, which is great if you plan on layering underneath. I normally wear a medium in most brands, but with Carhartt I usually size down to a small unless shrinkage is a concern. The small still gives me plenty of room to move comfortably. The snap buttons feel solid, the pockets are actually useful, and overall it has that rugged workwear feel Carhartt is known for.

Overall Great Shirt Jacket

I bought this a month ago and am so happy with it! I wear it often as a warm layer and it keeps me warm. The only downside is the sleeves are not lined with the same flannel/fleece as the body, I wish the sleeves had the same lining but overall really love it.

Worth The Money.

It will serve me well for years to come. It replaces my heavy canvas flannel lined shirt that I have worn for 15+ years. The fleece lining and lower,lined pockets I really like. Thanks. The wrist area could be bigger in diameter.

Nice denim is a little soft but comfortable hope it lasts.

I love my shacket , I put it on first thing in the morning and wear it almost all day.

My Shirt Jac Review

The buttons used on the pockets are lame. Should have used the snaps that are used on the front. The snaps would be much easier to use and look m;uch better. Also the internal pocket is way too shallow to secure a cell phone. Internal pocket is too small to be useful. Since jac is brand new, durability is unknown at this time.
