Put These Against Redwing Any Day

Have worn Carhart shoes, coats and clothes for over twenty years. The shoes I buy are the 8-inch-high variety. I bought these for my retirement because the need for higher boots are not needed. They can take a beating and still look good and durable. I have worn Redwing and I would put these boots up against them any day.

Work Boots

Prefect fit very comfortable. Will buy another pair soon as it is hard to find my size and width. Arrived before delivery date. Couldn’t be happier!

Boots are very comfortable. Little to no break in time. They have a great arch support for when your standing for long hours. I have had them for a couple have held up through rain, mud, dust, dirt, snow. They are water proof. My feet we’re slightly damp standing in torrential down pours for my job but after what I was in I doubt any boot is that waterproof…. They are starting to wear out though. I mean I do put them through rough stuff but I don’t expect these to last 6 months in the toughest of conditions.

Good But Prioritized Ruggedness Over Comfort

Quality boot, short break in time (about 20hrs for me), seem to be holding up very well after 3 months of rough use. Biggest complaint is comfort, it’s like there’s a daily break in period where they’re uncomfortable around the metatarsal protector & heels for the first 30min of wearing each day. If I leave them out in the cold, the metatarsal guard gets so stiff that it’s almost agonizing to wear for the first few minutes, I can feel the guard pressing hard against the top of my foot. I’ll probably keep wearing for quite some time because the protection is worth the initial discomfort to me, but would have preferred a little more focus on the curvature & pliability of the guard.

Great For Weather

Solid boot. I work in natural gas and am outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They've been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch. I've ridden the Harley a couple times with them in and the met guard is no good for that, protects your foot too much to have good connection with the shifter, but for work, these are great.

Invincible Boots

I love the look of these boots plus the reflector stripes on the back of the boots were a nice touch ..My feet feel invincible when wearing these boots..they are comfortable but not overly comfortable just good...

Happy With The Boot So Far.

So good...so far! True test will be in the winter. They're very comfortable indeed. This is my 1st pair of Carhartt boots, I've heard good things about the quality being better than Keen & Merrill to which I've bought before & haven't lasted long. Fingers crossed & expectations are high these will last longer than the others. If so I'll be buying Carhartt boots from here on out!

Good Boots

Great boots, I really like them and waterproof holds up pretty good. However I am giving it a 4 star because the back of my boots are peeling off and I don’t mind them getting like this but I am unsure of the reasoning behind it.
