Need More Options At 28" Waist

I like the shorts a lot. I would purchase additional pairs but my size ( 28" Waist ) was only available in one color. Disappointed that more options are not available. Carhartt is high quality clothing and I absolutely would purchase additional shorts if they were available.

Short and fat they fit me Eould loke to get 2 more for next year But the other color What do I do with the pullstring sewen into the eaistband?

They are OK, I would rather that you still offered the shorts that I ordered 2-3 years ago. They were a really basic mens short, with the relaxed cloth, but not all the extras, ie. elastic waistband, drawstring. the older model just fit better. I'm also trying to replace an old Carhartt leather belt, but you don't offer that model/color anymore. Sometimes you need to just stick with what works and not try to always "improve" on stuff. I'm probably going to move away from your brand more, as it isn't made for the working man anymore. You've gone for style, over substance.

This is the perfect short for me. It's always challenging for me to find the right short length since I'm a short guy at 5'8". Washes easy, no wrinkles, stretch waistband is perfect for working or just hanging

Don't Want The "Kids Style" Elastic Waistband!

Don't particularly like the elastic waistband or the drawstring. Wish the old style was still around. I like the weight and fit of these, but don't like the elastic waistband. Want a work pant with short-ish inseam and a phone pocket in lightweight canvas material.

Just the right fit. Interior string a plus. Pockets are good sized and easy enough to access. Great shorts!

I have three pairs and the brown ones are too tight in the waist. They seem to be a size smaller than the others.

Ok Shorts

Unique. Odd fit. Not stretchy, not canvas, not sure what the material is. Has an interior drawstring for some reason with elastic waistband. Carhart used to make a canvas short, same material as their long pants but no more.I bought two pair, returning one as I've tried to wear a pair and the fit and feel is odd.

Ruggedly Built, Comfortable. I Like The Quality Construction And Weight Of The Fabric.

They are my favorite work shorts. I like the 8" inseam, which allows me to kneel without binding. I'm not sure what the drawstring idea is for, as I always wear a belt. I like the phone/tool pocket, too. I'll buy more when I wear these out.

My fault, I bought the wrong short. I'm not a fan of the rugged flex. I was looking for a pair of shorts like Model BS52514-M because of the phone pocket but with a shorter inseam. The rugged flex do have a 1" shorter inseam and a phone pocket but didn't like the "flex" waistband with the drawstring that I didn't know it had. It's also a little baggie for my taste. It's not a bad short and may be just what someone else is looking for, just not my cup of tea.

I Guess This Is The New "Modern Fit?"

I wish Carhartt would go back to their old style shorts. I'm 6'4" 210 slim build and these shorts in a 36" waist have no extra room in the legs. They aren't skin tight but aren't far from it. Sending back.
