Quality Craftsmanship, Just Wish It Came In Better Colors

Solid. The sleeve lining is a little tighter going over my hands than I'd like and I wish it came in some more fun colors (the usual masculine color palette is so boring), but I can feel the quality immediately. I had a similar Carhart for like 12 years and traded it in for a Patagonia jacket in a fun color, and that thing was falling apart within 3 years even tho it was twice as expensive.

Not Meant For Rain Or Snow

I purchased this for my husband for work as he is an electrician. Paid the price for a carthartt product that was meant for work but it's no good in rain or snow. Disappointed

Glad I Chose It

Great jacket I didn't expect it to be so well made considering the price I'm using it as a snowboard coat great wind blocker and water proof it has plenty of room to move freely the hood is a little small but so glad I chose this instead of the north face that I have had before it only lasted a few years I think the Carhartt is more rugged and should last longer

Great Coat For Wet Weather

It is comfortable and fits as expected. I am 5'10 and 185 pounds and wore a size large. It is waterproof.

Nice-looking Jacket

My husband loves this jacket. Fits well and can be worn alone, or with a layer underneath for more warmth.

Durable, Comfortable, Functional

Great fit and I have been warm and dry all winter while out in the field, working on trails, and tree work. No concerns or issues with durability and this jacket has taken a beating. Highly recommend.

Quality For The Right Job

Great jacket. Works well as an outer shell that is water resistant, not water proof. I worked outside carrying heavy items with this jacket on and the heavy material does well with scrapes and abrasions. Great for construction work. Not much for insulation, make sure to wear a base layer (thermal), mid layer insulation (zip up jacket or vest to keep you warm), and this jacket on the outside if using for cold weather. With this jacket, I felt more prepared for my job as a material handler on a construction site.

A Great Rain Jacket!

I like the storm defender, a lot... it not only keeps me dry, it protects me from wind as well. And holds in warmth.

Disappointed

Quality has greatly diminished in recent times, bought this for the winter rain and I already had to have it sent in to be repaired it will be over a month without my brand new jacket, all plastic parts now greatly disappointed

Not A Warm Coat But He Likes It.

This was a gift for my son. I was looking for a warm coat for him but he picked out this coat. He is happy with it. It's more like a heavy windbreaker, not really warm at all. He'll wear it with hoodies so it should be fine. It's also noisy like a windbreaker.

Lightweight Jacket

My boyfriend loves his new jacket! He has a work Carhartt and mentioned he needed something lighter. Fits great!

Not As Advertised

Advertisement says it's heavyweight. It is not. It is a windbreaker at best. Probably fine for rain but not good for cold weather. Very disappointed.
