Great Coat
Great coat, but needs a waist drawstring. Otherwise cold air gets up under the coat.

Block Out Cold Air
The S size is a little large for me, a woman. I like it because it blocks out cold air and I don't feel cold. There are velcros on the pockets and beside the front zipper, but I removed it because it was uncomfortable. After that, it's completely comfortable to wear :D

Not Really An Upgrade From My Old Carhart Coat.
Not as warm as my 35 yr old fiberfill version with a snap-on hood; they should have used a heavier version (140g+ instead of 100g) of Thinsulate. Plus, there is no drawstring at the waist, so one tends to get cold drafts up from the bottom of the coat when moving. On the other hand, the hood is better than my old snap-on hood, and the sleeves are long enough at the cuff that there is an overlap over gloves when one wears them. The hand warmer pockets are much shallower and lower than my old coat, and partially covered by the flaps of added lower pockets; but the added lower flap covered pockets are sure to come in handy for carrying gloves.

Needs To Cut The Wind Better
I like it but it is not as warm as I had hoped. On very cold days here it is great as long as the wind is not bad. If the wind is 15 mph or more it comes through. That is why I bought it. But it is well made and looks great.

Awesome Jacket!
Never owned Carhartt until recently when I moved to Ohio. Knew there products were more expensive but man they are worth it! Nicest jacket ever owned by far! Now I buy all Carhartt products cuz they are unmatchable
