Excellent Work Jacket

This is a perfect work jacket for late fall/early winter weather in an area that has extreme cold weather (think Minneapolis, Fargo, Edmonton Winnipeg). It won't carry you through the entire winter if you work outdoors mid-winter, but it works well for everything else. If you live in an area that has a milder winter, this jacket is likely all you'll need. Carhartt's sizing here is a bit weird. Normally, I find Carhartt fits huge. With other brands I'm either an XL or a LT. With Carhartt those sizes are too big or too long for me. In the case of this jacket, it fits true to size. I ordered it in LT and the fit is incredible. It's probably the best fitting jacket I've ever owned. This is likely because this style of jacket is very short, so the extra length of the tall sizing works well for me. I would suggest if you don't want or need a really short jacket to not be afraid to order yours' in the tall sizing for some extra length. The pockets on the utility jacket are all very well placed, well sized and useful. The hood is permanently attached and might be the best aspect of the jacket. It is thick and warm and nearly impenetrable to the wind. The canvas used feels high quality and is not super stiff, allowing for free movement while still seeming rugged. In real life, the look of the jacket is close to the photographs used to picture it on this website. I had seen some amateur reviews of it on Youtube and felt the colours were more washed out looking than in the pictures here. Turns out, that was likely do to poor filming and a lack of content creator's understanding of white balance than anything to do with this product. If you like the way it looks on this site, you'll like it in person. I would not hesitate to recommend the sherpa lined utility jacket and have even considered ordering a second one in a different colour for casual use because I enjoy wearing it so much. I can not comment on the durability as I have only owned this jacket for a few months.

Great

I bought it for my 15 year old grandson and he loves it!

Very Nice Look And Functionality

I got this as an early christmas present for my boyfriend and boy did he need it. It kept him warm when the temp went to the low teens (F). And everyone at his job has been complimenting him since.

Great for going out in inclement weather to take care of horses. Sturdy and wind proof. Comfortable to wear. Hood lifts into place easily when needed.
