Not An Actual Rain Jacket
Jacket is cute, but it is Just a wind breaker, NOT a rain defender. I specifically got this for the rain days and this does nothing against the rain, if anything the material absorbs it. I was absolutely drenched in my regular clothes underneath this. The hood is also made very small and i constantly have to pull it forward to keep my face covered. Im really disappointed in this product so for its designed purpose, my review is low and no.

Didn't Do What I Needed
Do NOT buy this as a raincoat!! I tried discussing this issue on a chat here at Carhartt and got no where. This jacket is advertised as a rain jacket so I purchased it full price. Wore it the other day as I got stuck in the rain and I was SOAKED completely through into my clothing. I contacted support and they say it's only for light rain! What? So now I need multiple rain jackets. I love carhartt products overall but this one do not buy if you're using it as a raincoat, which is why I bought it. Rain Defender, it is NOT. Light spring jacket, it'll be fine.
