Not What I Expected

I got this and returned it right away. It was oddly stiff and did not allow much movement. Also felt like more of a windbreaker than a insulated jacket.

Fabulous Warm, Waterproof Jacket For Women!!!

Love this jacket! It keeps me dry, and warm and actually covers my butt! Which most womens jackets do NOT do. The hood is big enough too so you can wear a toque or beanie without it actually not covering your face. Pockets are huge in comparison to other womens jackets and have the inside pockets too. Everything I wanted in a warmer, water proof jacket as I walk my dog every day, twice or three times a day. I did wear North Face for years, but had to wear a Men's small to get the length to cover my butt, and bigger pockets on the outside with inside pockets too. But their quality is no longer the same and I am so glad I found this on Carhartt. I found out about Carhartt by watching Jenna Phipps on TikTok!! She would talk about how great their jackets and outdoor wear and featured it pretty regularly on their posts. I figured if it worked for her, I would look into it and I am so glad I did!!! Thank you Jenna!! Now the only complaint I have, is the zipper gets caught on the inside material when I zip it up to the top. Very grateful for the two zippers on the outside for sitting down or driving though. I had to wiggle out of the jacket thru those as the zipper would not give. I managed to free it up from the material on inside and now I'm very careful when I zip up! I do love the bigger zipper too! Makes it easy to work.

Great For Bitter Cold Weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this coat for my daughter at U of M who uses the busing system and has lots of walking between buildings and with the bitter cold of Michigan weather she has been super warm and comfortable. Definitely a great purchase.

Purchased For 14 Year Old Granddaughter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my 14 year old granddaughter to wear at the stables for working and riding during these Minnesota winter months. She loves the jacket and it looks so good on her. She is 5'6" and can't weigh more than 100 lbs if that. A size small gives her room for a couple layers underneath. Perfect purchase and had Carhartt Loyalty money to use which made for a sweet price!

Seriously The Best Winter Barn Coat I've Ever Owned!

I have worn duck coats for years and decided to try this because I wanted something I could also ride in comfortably without the coat bunching up around the saddle. The side zippers make all of the difference! I've worn it with a hoodie underneath and have stayed warm even in high winds with wind chills below 10F. I bought the blue because I loved the color, but it does show dirt from being in the barn. I'm now buying a black one!
