Looks Better On The Models

I was looking for a spring jacket. It almost looks like a shirt-jac in the photos like it has more drape, but it is quite stiff, heavy and thick. I thought being "Tencel" it would be a lot softer and more pliable. That being said, it is not as thick as the normal canvas coats. I found it to run large. I am over 5'8" and purchased a medium. It is quite long on me, but because I am tall, the waist falls in the wrong place - higher. It is nice quality and I can see people liking it. It is a shoulder season jacket - too warm for temps over 50 while working outside. Sadly, I am returning it because I don't think I will get enough wear out of it and I am not in love with the fit.

Great Lightweight, Durable Coat!

I bought this jacket a month ago. It is a great coat for multiple seasons in New England and appears to have the Carhartt durability as always! DSG was fantastic with a price match from another retailer. They have a great selection of clothing for men and women!

I am so happy with this jacket. It’s a perfect lightweight winter/fall jacket. I normally wear a medium on top but I sized down to a small which fit better. Love it!!!

My New Favorite Every Day Coat

This is the best lightweight coat. It is perfect for early fall and spring. I took it on a trip to Europe and it's a great travel coat. The Velcro pockets on the inside are perfect for keeping passports and money safe in busy places. It's a good weight and I got mine a little large so I can make it really warm by layering with a sweater.

Might Be My Favorite

I've barely had this a month and it's already a favorite. If you see other review from me, you'll get that I'm obsessed with the TENCEL selections, this is no exception. I have no shortage of Carhartt jackets of varying weights. The cut of this is very flattering, these pants weight is perfect for spring and summer nights, or chilly days. It's still breathable, yet a nice layer to keep the chill off. I got black and thought I would regret it due to how other collect dog fur and random fuzz, but the smoothness of this fabric attracts less lint/hair and when it does get in there, it's far easier to brush off. The stiffness of other Carhartt jackets does not exist with this one, that stiffness serves its purpose, so just know that before buying. This is durable, but not as heavy duty it's perfect for general work and for going out. The flexibility is phenomenal and. I greatly appreciate that the sleeves allow for larger arms or layering without being balloons, I wouldn't be able to wear a sweater under it, but long sleeves and flannels fit perfectly without bunching. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park with this jacket from looks to fit to function. I'm very tempted to grab the green as well and will watch for more colors.

Just What I Was Looking For

I just bought this in case the weather ever warms up here in Ohio. I was looking for something just like this in the fall. The one I ordered from another store turned out to be more of a rain jacket. And I got another that was too thin. I love this! The style is so cute with a longer length in back. And the fabric the perfect weight. The sleeves are a tad long but I’ll roll them up. This will be perfect for transitional spring or fall weather.
