Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well with short paddles I bought two clips. One for my solo canoe and one for my wife's kayak. The kayak paddle is short(220-230 cm) and the clip holds the paddle well. My solo canoe paddle is much longer (280 cm) and heavier. The clip doesn't hold the long paddle as well. I currently use two clips to hold the longer paddle and that works well. However, for the longer paddle I would prefer a bungee paddle holder. Clips work as described and no holes need to be drilled.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disapointed in Design I purchased the paddle/fishing-pole holder for my sit-in kayak. I attached it to the Cascade Creek Yakclips Clip-On Paddle Clip to my kayak after reading the instructions. I tested it with my carbon fiber paddle and it worked well. The problem was removing the yakclip product from my kayak, the small clip for holding fishing poles broke. I would not recommend the yakclip unless you plan to kept it on 100 percent of the time. I need to remove this type of product in order to install my cockpit cover and spray skirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best accessory for my yak. My kayak didn't come with paddle keepers so I bought one of these. It's perfect because you can move it to either side and move it up out of your way so you won't scrape your knuckles. We've since purchased a second kayak; same as the one we already own and purchased another clip on paddle keeper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it was intended to do Made of a sturdy, springy plastic, it holds your paddle while you do something else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works but not my first choice I have a future beach 126 angler kayak. The Yakclip paddel/rod holder was surprisingly snug and held tight to the kayak but the paddle being held was kind of unstable. It would be better if the cradle holding the paddle was wider. I decided to buy a small bungee and hook-clips to hold the paddle for me. It took a little time to install it (compared to the Yakclip) but it holds the paddle / rods beautifully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from like an extra hand Paddle clips break easy especially when you tie your kayak to a dock and the clipped paddle hits the dock, lesson learned. The Cascade is sturdy and has some give to it, I can move it around the kayak so it isn't in my way when paddleing, I can move it to eather side of the kayak when fishing or I can clip it to the front of the kayak and have the paddle laying across the yak

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Highly recommend this clip. I needed some way to keep my paddle close but also needed my hands free to take photos while kayaking. THis clip does the trick. It clipped onto the inner edge of my kayak in front of me so that I can easily "dock" my paddle across the top of the kayak while I use my camera. Not expensive, and very useful accessory.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Holds tight I had my doubts that it would hold on edge of kayak; but it did easily. It's also easily moved to the side. Only complaint that I have is that it's loud when you pop your paddle off, and when it's in the midline (paddle moves/sways side to side and hits the yak)
