Horrible.
I used these to summit Eldorado in the North Cascades. Broke both pairs in deep spring snow and they made my 10 hour climb a 14 hour 40 minute suffer feast. I was able to lash them to my feet (kinda) with spare dyneema cord, and hobble down while postholing to my waist. I wouldn’t recommend these shoes to my worst enemy. Also bent one of the poles on a separate trip and now it doesn’t collapse all the way. Save yourself the hassle and get the MSR snowshoes. These are crap. As a mountaineer, I need my equipment to work properly in harsh conditions. These are heavy, clunky feeling, and not durable. Would rate 0 stars if I could.

Broke Easily
I wore it the first time and the heal broke. Then the replacement had the same problem too. The heal broke after the second wear.

Great Shoe
The snowshoe kits was everything I wanted. It is lightweight and easy to use. I can with poles which can be adapted to regular hiking poles for summer use too.

Terrible
Save money, Do not buy. 1) The poles broke with in the first 100 ft out on the trail. Left shoe was assembled incorrectly from manufacture causing the left to be angled towards rifle shoe. Had to walk with toes pointed out so shoes did not step on each other. Return for refund.

Having Fun
I bought these snowshoes just in time for the first major snowfall in years. I’ve used them 4 times so far. The bindings are easy to tighten and loosen and stay put while snowshoeing. The kit was reasonable and came with poles and a storage bag. I’m having fun with them. The reason for 4 versus 5 stars is that I have nothing to compare them to.

Work Great!
I have used these multiple times since purchasing them. They are lightweight and easy to get on and off. They were worth every penny and I can get outside during the snowy winters and walk trails with no problem.

Great For A Beginner
I bought this set for my GF who had never tried snow showing. Great set for pretty short money. She’s sold. Used them several times and they are perfect.

Very Poorly Made. Broke On Second Outing.
I bought these snow shoes for myself this winter. Purchased on December 31st. Tried them out for the first time on January 30th. Just got home from my second experience. Put on my left snow shoe. Great. Put on my right snow shoe, and the top toe strap broke (rubber side). Limped along in the snow by following in my friend's snow shoe tracks for about 40 minutes until my snow shoe came flying off. Terrible design. No way to fix them. I am hoping I will be able to get my money back.

Great Value!
Earlier this winter I rented a set of snowshoes to go with a friend. I enjoyed it so much that I bought these Cascade Mountain Tech shoes from Dick's online. I have been extremely pleased with them and have been out with them 8-9 times in the past three weeks. Two weeks ago, I took another friend out for his first time and he bought the same ones, also from Dick's online.

Poor Design Of Rear Binding
Bought the medium kit. These are rated for up 250 lb. My issue is with the rear binding for the back of the foot. I where a size 12 shoe, and the binding is att the very max. If these were big insulted boots or larger than a size 12, they would be next impossible to get on.. Remember you'll be wearing gloves or mittens when trying to get the on. The front toe biinding is great. Overall they perform quite nicely.
