I just got these. They are a GREAT upgrade from rentals. Yes you have to get any new skate sharpened so I find the reviews that say these are dull peculiar? I have wider feet so they fit great. Got a good deal at Dicks and stoked.

Bought these for my partner to start skating and needed to return. They were too large.

They packed two different sized skates. One size 11 and 12, when I ordered 11. The box was ripped up and completely covered in tape. They are sold out of size 11 and can’t order new ones in time for Christmas.

Dull ice blade skates, no support to your ankles and dull for the price paid to use for hockey

This is a very intermediate skate but a good value for the money. Says comes pre-sharpened however do go get these sharpened at a skate shop if you want to stop as you anticipate and not break an arm! It’s a good looking skate and should be durable for several years of use if taken care of properly.

I got this to go skating with my friends because the rentals are horrible. This was 10x better than the rentals. I have a 12.5 shoe and the size 11 skate fits me perfectly just like the chart says. Only gripe is the spot above my ankle bone on the outside is pretty sore and a little bruised after skating 2 days in a row. Wish there was a bit more cushioning up high in the ankle, because when the skate angles out on me, the hard plastic upper cuff digs into my upper ankle.

I first bought more expensive FT475 size 8, and sold them at a loss - these FT455 were right between a 7.5 and 8 length, (better) and just a bit wider than the 475's. The toe box feels more snug which is good, there is room for my bunions. Will give a better review when I play some beer league hockey with these. I would like to know the profile (10, 11, 13)?

I purchased these a month ago because of the inconsistency of rental skate sharpness. I’m just good enough that dull skates are a problem. I’m using them for recreational skating and one race event per year, not hockey or anything. These were so sharp out of the box that I couldn’t glide to do a hockey or snow plow stop. They just dug in landing me on the ice. After the first local facility sharpening they were perfect. I wear a 9.5d to 10d shoe so this size 8 is a good length. An 8.5 might be better but this works. My only gripe is it’s a bit wide so it gives poor side support for doing crossovers. If you only skate a couple months out of the year these are a good bargain. If you skate year round look for a better skate with changeable blades. Enjoy.

Bought over a month ago. Used them several times already and am very happy with the purchase. Good quality and supportive skate. Price reasonable.

Me and my son had the same pair 2 years ago. My son outgrown the skate so we decided to buy him a new ones, exactly the same but the size is bigger. Its nice that its pre sharpen when you buy them.

Bought for 13 year old for recreational skating. Fit great the first time worn. Very comfortable.

I found these too narrow for my feet. Got Ccm tacks instead
