Long Break-in
The other reviews were right. The toe box is narrow for Chacos and it takes a long time to break these babies in. I have worn them 5-10 times already and I still can’t go longer than an hour or two without blisters. I have faith they’ll continue to improve, but it’s slow going for sure.

Boots bought in black, same size as Chaco sandals. Arrived and comfortable out of box, size fit well, toe box a little tight with bulky socks. Tried to break in before bringing them on holiday trip to Germany. Wearing 12 hours in rainy conditions on uneven cobblestones with over 15K steps and feet stayed dry! A little sore but would have been worse without the great support the boots offered.

This Model Is Not A Winner, For Me.
Good quality materials, sturdy, and obviously good looking. However, the fit is tight through the toe box and does not provide the footbed support I expect from Chaco. I had to return my pair because they were uncomfortable the instant I pulled them on.

Good Basic Boot
This is a good boot. I like the quality and look, and it’s pretty comfortable. I would have given it another star if it had a bit more arch support or “Cush”, like the sandals, but it is a bit more basic than that.
