Straps Are Way Too Tight/not Long Enough

I bought these recently after absolutely loving my prior chaco leather sandals; unlike the wayfarers which we're my go to for years, the Townes Midform Sandal are not comfortable. The leather strap is so tight on the top of my foot even with the clasp at the longest hole, and the other support strap is not adjustable, so it cuts into my foot. I sized up and still do not have enough space with these straps.
