I have been wearing chaos for over 20 years. They are the best shoes ever. I wear them everywhere!
Sad Adventurer :(
I've worn Chacos for years and have loved my experience with them. I've always bought size 9 and they have fit great throughout the years. I recently purchased a new pair because I've worn my old pair down and was surprised when my foot was hanging over the edge with the new size 9. I ended up returning them (was so disappointed because I was excited to break them in) and exchanged them for a size up, hoping that maybe the size 10 would fit closer to my old size 9. Nope :( They're too big and now I have no other options but to return these too. It's so odd because I heard that y'all hadn't changed sizing but there is 100% a difference in size because I put my old 9 back-to-back with the new pair of 9s and the sole of the new pair was about a half an inch smaller. I am incredibly disappointed because these have been my adventure sandals for years and now I'm at a lost of what to do. Please oh please, whatever changes have been made that have resulted in a different fit and shorter footbed/sole, please revert back to the former manufacturing! I don't want to have to find a new shoe but neither the 9 nor the 10 fit. I appreciate your time and really hope that something can be done so I can wear chacos again someday!

This is my first pair with no toe strap; I was a little worried it would feel like my feet are "slipping" but that hasn't been the case at all. They are comfortable and secure and I love the color (Burnt Umber).

Worse shoes I have ever worn. I broke them in for a few weeks and then all I have to say is BLISTERS BLISTERS. I tried to adjust them so many times (which is very complex by the way) and they rubbed my feet absolutely raw.

Great everyday shoes for spring to fall (in the South). I wear them to do everything but work as a nurse and dress up in them. My right foot has a beginning bunion where the bone sticks out and rubs on the majority of shoes available. These absolutely do not rub!! You can see the strap misses the boney protrusion completely! The insole are super supportive and have helped my plantar fasciitis tremendously!

I am dealing with falling arches. I thought the arch support in these would help. But the arch support is to good. They were punching my tender bruised arches. I hope to try them again when I heal.

The sandal is comfortable from day one and very sturdy. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the excessively long strap which hangs down to the ground and gets dirty and is even a trip hazard. Like with my previous pair, I’ve ended up cutting it shorter and sewing the ends myself.

Love the pebble design. A little long for size 7. feels a bit floppy sometime. Maybe sole will break in over time, but my older ones did not feel like this.

Bravo Chacos - the clever and functional straps exceeded expectations! The sandals have cradling arch support and are fashionable to boot. I've wornn them in the lakes to protect against sharp-edged zebra mussels.Yay all around!

Took a few days to get used to them, but now these are amazing. I have plantar fasciitis and it's been tough to find shoes that give me the support I need. I like how versatile they are, I got them in multiple colors!

Overall, I like the fit of these. I have a high arch and found that these fit very comfortably around it. I wore these on my trip to Europe where I was walking 7-10 miles a day and would wear them again. I like that when they got wet, they were quick to dry. My only grievance is that there is a "learning" curve to these shoes that I had to Google to understand. If this is your first pair of chacos, do not ever tighten the strap. Don't do it. Keep the buckle loose, it will prevent rubbing on certain areas. I earned a solid 6 blisters until I learned of this on a reddit thread. I wouldn't recommend these if you have a fat/flat foot.

Bought these 2 years ago and I am so disappointed in the quality. The foot bed is actually wearing out where my foot touches it and the sole is wearing flat. This is the least I've ever worn a pair of Chacos and hands down the worst they've ever been. I've bought Chacos before and they lasted for ages through way more wear and tear! I've worn Chacos in Central and Southeast Asia, in deserts, jungles, beaches and I never had the actual foot bed start wearing off. The sole isn't Vibram anymore, either. The straps are fine, so the "repairable" guarantee is pointless. I won't be buying another pair.

straps are a little too long for my small-volume size 9.5 foot

Comfortable, attractive, and soft colors go with just about everything. I’m a longtime Chacos customer and these are one of my favorites.

Super comfy, beautiful color, great quality. I have narrow feet and was worried itll be too wide, but the adjustable straps work perfectly
