Disappointed In New Sizing

I’ve always loved my chacos, I’ve been wearing them for close to a decade now but the new pair I got is so obviously smaller than my old pair despite being the same size. The plastic on the new pair feels so cheap and I don’t have hope that this pair will last me as long as the other pair (the only reason I got new ones was because I lost one at an airport). Disappointed to see my favorite shoe company sell out to make inferior products, I don’t think I’ll continue to buy chacos after this pair wears out

legit have wanted these sandals for years so I finally bit the bucket and got them, most uncomfortable shoes I think I have ever worn, the wide option is atrocious and I am extremely upset I spent so much money on these shoes and I can’t return them because I got custom pairs, adjustable strap is way too long

I Love Chacos!

These are my umpteenth pair of chacos and I still love them! I have used them for Grand Canyon backpacking, everyday wear, and even formal events. The design and colors are usually true to the website and the shoes are both durable and beautiful.

Chacos Have Changed

I have been wearing Chacos for about 25 years, but this pair, and the previous ones I purchased about 2 years ago have been totally different from the Chacos I know and love. The arch support is not what it used to be and I don't feel like I can walk around all day in them anymore. I don't know what has changed, but I hope Chaco decides to change it back.

There Is A Fixed Strap! And It’s Tight!

The fixed strap is way too small- also why is there even a fixed strap on an open sandal like this! I have tall feet and the fixed strap was way too tight. I was barely able to get my foot in the shoe, and it looked like my feet were being strangled. I really liked the color and I’m disappointed that these sandals didn’t work for me. I think they should be fully adjustable so they can accommodate all foot shapes.

Super Disappointing

I bought at the end of the season for my daughter who decided that she would like a pair, but I didn't think that meant I would be receiving a pair that wasn't quality controlled very well. The back strap on one shoe was 1/2 inch longer than the other shoe. Also, the strap was not sewn flat, but was bunched up. There was no way to make them fit correctly. I was very disappointed since my daughter really loved the print and colors. When we tried to exchange them for the same size, of course they had no more left. I am hoping this is not a preview of what is to come from Chacos. I really like mine, but am concerned I will get more that are sewn poorly.

Hiked 10 miles in these today (not by choice - I forgot my orthotics for my hiking boots) on a moderate-grade trail and they felt amazing - no blisters, pain or discomfort. I've also been wearing them for neighbourhood dog walks, travel and as approach shoes for rock climbing. My partner has had the same pair in men's for years, so they seem durable. 6 out of 5 stars!
