I originally thought it was 20"high, not realizing 20"diameter. Seriously cool addition to my back yard. Relatively easy to clean. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This unit has all the bells and whistles It is heavy gauge metal with a very good powder coated finish. I love the fire box being separate from the bottom, the water bowl, and the cool little red grommet for my temp sensors. These guys thought of everything, an adjustable damper on the bottom for heat control, handy control right in front. Plus top vent adjustable. Clean up is a cinch and most important, of Chicken, Beef and Pork, everything we have smoked, is better eating than any other method of cooking, Not saying it best for everything, but this is one well designed quality made smoker.

We got tired of the drama of going to our local BBQ/smokehouse joint and waiting for a table, only to be told the ribs we wanted were already sold out. Now, with our Char Broil 20" Bullet Smoker, we control our own smoked meat destiny! Yeah, Baby! The features I enjoy...Small footprint; hardy construction; accurate thermometer & flue controls and a chamber sized for two St Louis racks, three Beer Can Chickens or a 12 lb. Picnic Shoulder. In other words, enough to feed some folk, but not too many! I can blend Applewood with Mesquite to get the flavor signature we like. And, no standing on line for a noisy table!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very well built but has some flaws This is a nice bullet smoker. It's powder coated, but it does have some flaws. It was fairly easy to put together. Taking my time, it took about 45 minutes to assemble. Seasoning it was easy. There are a few design flaws we noted. Cons: 1) At the price of this smoker, it should have at least come with a cover. 2) Accessing the water pan to put more in while you are smoking is annoying and very difficult. The pan is part of the middle section (attached to your secondary meat rack) and has a very narrow clearance to add water. I had to use a watering can to put some in there throughout the cooking process. 3) the door on the front is huge, and when you need to add water, it lets out a ton of heat. 4) If you need to add more to the heat at the bottom, you have to take off the entire middle and top at the same time, try not to slosh hot water on yourself, and refill the heat area. Suggestions: 1) There should be a small back door giving you access to add heat without having to disassemble during the cooking process. There should also be a small door to access the water pan to add to it without having to open the door on the front. 2) The door on the front has no seal, so a ton of smoke constantly billows out. Pros: 1) It kept a steady temperature throughout the cooking process. 2) The meat came out very nicely done with a good smoke flavor. 3) Easy to assemble and season.
