Decent Skates

These skates are good for the prices. They run big. Maybe a 1/2 to whole size too big. And the tongue needs smoothing out because it digs into the foot. Otherwise, they work well.

Outside Use??

Can you use the skates for outside use as well? I’m looking to buy a pair

Beautiful Boot!

I'm a skater from way back and these skates exceeded my expectations. The boot feels professional not cheep, the wheels render a smooth glide, I don't have to change them out. They definitely run large, "I read the reviews" I wear a 9.5, I purchased an 8..the fit is perfect. I wear thick socks and still have ample room however, they aren't clunky and don't drag. I don't know they do it, but this skate is excellent. I recommend this skate for new and seasoned skaters.

Perfect Starter Rink Skates

Nice Skates

I've only used twice for about 2 hours but I learned how to skate in these and they look pretty. I bought my size and a size down. I kept the smaller size since they do run a little large but both fit.

Heavy, But Great Quality!

A lot of the reviews say to buy a size smaller, but I just bought a 9 women's (I'm typically an 8-9 normal shoes, and an 8 in men's skates) and they fit pretty well. While there's definitely some extra room, I laced them a bit tighter and they fit perfectly. The boot goes about an inch or two more up your leg than average rink rental skates, so they have more support and feel more "attached" to your leg. The toe stops are pretty large and flat (not peg-shaped), so it's really easy to slow down or stop. They do weigh 7.5 pounds total, so be prepared for a workout. Because of that, it may also be harder to sustain high speeds unless you're really working at it, but it's been easier for me to stop or slow down quickly. Overall, they feel very sturdy and strong, they don't hurt my feet or give me blisters, and they roll very nicely. No adjustments required; I skated on them for a few hours immediately after opening the box. They worked very well on the smooth concrete sidewalks at the park, but rolled a little bit easier and faster at the indoor skating rink, so be advised. I ordered them on a Friday; they took about 5 business days to ship. I had to call to change my address while the order was in route, and the customer service representative was very helpful. Overall, great product.

Every Thing Is Perfect With These Chicago Skates

Omgosh Im in love with these skates!! Please buy a size smaller than what you normally wear!! I wear a size 8 - 8.5 in womens and after i read the reviews, i bought a size 7 and they fit perfect!!! :-) im so happy with my purchase!!!

Malfunctions After 1st Time Use

I bought these last week, I am usually a size 6-7 but after reading the reviews I decided to buy the size 6 since they ran small. The size 6 fit excellent but after less than an hour into my first time skating around my neighborhood my friend looked down at my skates and noticed the front stopper/break had already fallen off.

Outstanding Quality Product

Over the years, I've bought three sets of these skates in ever increasing sizes for my now twelve year old Niece. My Niece skates every day and has never had any problems with them whatsoever. The last pair we bought she wore 90% off the wheels diameter before she outgrew them and, they still functioned perfectly. I've absolute confidence that this latest purchase she'll wear out eventually since her feet have stopped growing. The craftsmanship that's put into these skates have produced a truly top quality item. I'd recommend them to anyone from beginner to expert.
