Could Be Better
Bought this headgear to replace my son's lost Twister style, which has been the best headgear to date mostly because of its single strap design. This one promised to be an upgrade but my son had a little more difficulty getting it adjusted. He complains he cannot hear out of it and the velcro on the chin strap already started coming unstitched... luckily Dicks let me exchange it without question! Wish they'd bring back the Twister style though!

Looks Good On. Fits Nicely.
Bought this for my son‘s first year of wrestling. He’s a lightweight so I was a little nervous it would be too loose but it was able to be adjusted to fit. If he was a little smaller it would probably be too loose. He is 112 pounds at 14 years old and about 5’5” at helps anyone decide if that would fit. But overall from that size of it looks like it would work for just about anybody.

Great For Jujitsu
I bought these to use during jujitsu rounds while I was trying to heal some pretty bad developing cauliflower ear. They are super comfortable and protective while being very "low profile", and the materials/curved shapes of the ears make it even less of an encumbrance. It is very snug and stays in place for an entire 3 minute round no matter how intense you're going, but I would say after each round I do slight readjustment just to make it feel perfect again. The only thing not perfect about this headgear is the chin strap, which is still totally fine, it just doesn't fit in a perfect spot the way I would imagine the absolute ideal one would in a perfect world. For instance, I kind of go back and forth between preferring it under my chin vs on my chin, because neither one feels totally right but honestly both ways feel very comfortable during grappling sessions and don't make it any less secure or stable. This is definitely the model I would recommend anyone who does jujitsu to get.
