Cobra F-max Irons Review

I'm a senior player, lots of experience good and bad. I upgraded from my Nike VRS X steel irons that were about 10 years old. I wanted to try graphite shafts again. I last tried graphite about twenty years ago and found I couldn't hit them accurately. These Cobras are just as accurate as steel but I don't hit them any farther which I was hoping for. Sometimes I hit the 4 and 5 hybrid's well, sometimes not, I need more practice. My favorite club has been the pitching wedge. Very accurate and easy to control the distance. I got $50 off on a flash sale and another $20 off for adding an email. $430. plus tax total. Overall I'm happy I made the switch.

Poor Experience

Ordered a Cobra set online, really fast shipping…. Too bad they shipped the wrong set. Returned the set to the store, got credit and they placed an order for the correct set again. I had applied a $20 coupon to the original order which they couldn’t transfer to my reorder for some reason. I was told to go here and there no one seemed I know how to get my$20 back. I Was told to wait until my clubs arriv d and then come back for the 20. When. Went back I was told to calla # maybe they could help me. After 3 trips to the store I still have no refund, a least I have the correct clubs I guess…..won’t be frequenting DICKS….

Quality Set Of Intermediate Clubs

Bought for my 19 year old son to replace his set, my hand me down King Cobra SSs. Since he already had a driver and fairway woods, this set is perfect with a 4h and 5h among a 6-W iron set. At the first visit to the range, a huge difference in strikability and distance. Glad we made the investment.

I bought this set for my 15 year old that had recently taken up golf. I liked that the set had two hybrids replacing two long irons. I watched a video of a pro from 2nd Swing Golf hit shots with three different Cobra models including this model. This model performed similarly to models that cost twice as much. I took a few swings with the 7 iron and 5 hybrid and they seemed as good as my Pings.
