Rated 4 out of 5 by from One length , one swing ??? While it is a great idea , I do not think that it is that simple. I purchased these with the thought I would be able to repeat a swing with the same length irons for each club. While I will say I feel I have played better they did not simplify my iron game in that way. The angle of attack for each club is different and ball placement in my stance changes the swing path ever so slightly. You just can not play a pitching wedge in the same place as a five iron, the ball flight for one or the other is not going to be good. You can find a happy medium and play with the expectation of a mediocre shot and result but that is not why I paid the money to get the clubs. I can say that the five iron is out of my bag because there is not a big enough gap between the five and six. These clubs shine from the seven to the wedge, with a nice distance gap of 8-12 yards between each. They spin low in my opinion but they go so high that it makes up for it. Even with the stronger loft it still gets up nicely. My last iron set I carried my seven iron around 155 now I am around 170 , I have actually played a couple times with just seven off the tee and have been happy with the position it leaves for the next shots. SO yes they are a nice set(minus the five iron) , will you be able to master one "swing" absolutely not. Do I feel that the clubs have helped my game or was it just learning my game and playing to my strengths I could not say. I do not leak as many shots out to the right so that's a plus.Try them out , keep an open mind but do not expect these to fix everything for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looking forward to playing this year I've been playing Callaway XR irons I had fitted with the recoil graphite shaft. I'm almost 70 and have damage to my left eye, so I thought I would give these a try. The first time I demoed them on the simulator I demoed the steel shaft and I wasn't getting the distance I'm used too. I went back and demoed them again and was able to hit the steel, the stock graphite and the recoil graphite. I like the feel of the steel better, the stock shaft next but I ordered the recoil shaft because the distance and dispersion were clearly better for me. I've only played them twice, and haven't really gotten used to playing the ball in the same place, but overall I didn't loose any distance. I gained distance on my gap wedge and was very pleasantly surprised at chipping around the greens. I think they will really help me by being able to put the ball in the same position and using the same swing. I would recommend everyone get fitted. I've bought 3 sets of irons from Golf Galaxy and they will fit you for free if you buy the clubs there. When my new Cobra's came in I asked that they test the lie angle and it was just what I ordered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best clubs I ever purchased What a difference in handling and striking the ball. The 5 and 6 clubs were easily hit and with good distance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and consistent Went to Golf Galaxy to compare the G, the Tilteist ap 1, and the Steelhead irons. The Ping was just too chunky looking, the Titleist was beautiful but hit way to high, and the steelhead was extremely long but the distances were all over the place. Then I hit the Cobra f7 one length and they felt great and produced consistent distances with a nice, high trajectory. Luckily the store had the entire set to demo and I hit the 5 iron through gap wedge. They were impressive and actually felt like cheating. Being a 12 handicap, I didn't commit because I could have been having an exceptional swing day. Went back two more times and had similar results. Scheduled a fitting and purchased 5 thru sand wedge. They are so easy to hit and make this hard game just a little more enjoyable. Have no trouble holding greens. Do yourself a favor and try these irons. It's like stealing.
