Assembly

While this tent pole saved us from having to purchase a new 6 man tent, assembling the pole was a huge undertaking. It took over an hour to feed the bungee cord through the holes of the (4) 2’ tent poles. Very cumbersome to say the least. I would recommend assembling it at home rather than at the campsite.

Tent Pole Repair Kit

Bought this to repair my Coleman Evanston tent, these repair kits are great they’re thicker than the originals and they support the tent extremely well they are very much worth the price if you need to repair your tent poles get them and you will be happy with your results.

Replacement Tent Poles

I bought this to replace tent poles that I had lost while camping. I had to cut each of the poles so the length would match the other pole. It was a very easy process and they worked great when I was done. Saved the whole tent by just being able to replace one pole.

Good Replacement Poles And Easy To Put Together

I first used these poles for standing up an extra rain tarp. I had a lot of pull on the tarp which had the pole bowing out for several days in the hot summer heat, and it survived a very strong thunderstorm with approximately 20mph gust. It held up well and straightened right up when I took it all down. These didn't come with instructions, but go to Youtube and search Tent Pole Repair if you've never done this before. Basically tie a double overhand knot at the end of the elastic cord, and then start threading through the poles. Only pull it through the sections you need. (For me I only needed 3 of the 4 poles.) It has a cord puller if you need it, which might require taping. After getting the cord through with the poles together, stretch the cord and tie another double overhand knot. Cut of any excess cord. Then put the rubber cap over the ends.

Much Needed!!!

I purchased these to replace some broken ones from my old tent. They worked beautifully. Glad Dick's had them reasonably priced.
