Calling this heavyweight is laughable. I've been wearing this type of shirt for 30 years and this is probably the thinnest I've ever gotten. I tried it because it's so hard to find clothes that are made out of natural materials instead of plastic. So, I like the fact that it's cotton and it doesn't make me clammy and sweaty. But this is absolutely not heavyweight. If you don't care about that, then it's fine.
