I was given this cooler as a gift for my birthday. It has never been used. It has never been left outside. Its been in my garage, taking up space. Then about 10-12 days ago I noticed that the lid was warped so the cooler can't achieve a tight seal. Nothing has been on top of it nor has anyone sat on it. I decided to test it out so I bought a 10lb. bag of ice and put in the cooler, in the bag. Approximately 24 hours later the ice was 95% melted. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I will never buy another Coleman cooler. Now I just hope the person that gifted it to me doesn't ask about it. I can't just toss it in the trash. So I'm stuck with a huge, unusable cooler that's occupying a large amount of space in my garage!

We have 2 older Coleman coolers one is the extreme.we are building a new house and spent a week living out of the coolers, the extreme lasted 6 days in 85 plus temps with 4 20 lbs bags of ice. The classic we just bought lated 2 days and we used 8 bags for this cooler while the extreme we used 1 20 lbs bags all we kept in it was drinks since we didn't trust food.

The lids warped beyond use withing a 30 day time period

After only a handful of uses the lid started warping. 2 years later and the lid no longer closes shut from how warped it is. Avoid this product.

Very big and spacious. Kept my frozen items sufficiently frozen. Happy with the performance and glad i bought them.

We bought a 316 Series 150-qt cooler to haul beef. It's been used twice to haul 1/4 cow over 700 miles and performed well both times. Depending on the size of the animal, it will hold a full quarter (or 1/2 of a 1/2). Both times we filled it full of frozen beef, made the drive, and the beef was still frozen solid (no ice added). When loaded, it is quite heavy, but the one time it was lifted from the ground to the truck while loaded, the handles were up to the task. We also used it on a much longer trip, but then we were just keeping stuff cold (not frozen) and we added ice periodically. It will fit in the bed of a pickup with a few inches to spare. It will also fit in the back of a medium-sized SUV. So, it's been used three times, and when not is use, I store it in the basement. I did notice this last time that the lid was warping. It would still seal when pushed down, but in reading some of the other reviews, this may be the start of a problem. Hope not. I gave it four stars based on the way it has performed so far. If the lid continues to warp, with so little used and being otherwise stored in a cool basement out of the sun, then you could knock off three stars.

The label in big blue and white letters states, “keeps ice for up to 6 days.” We went camping and by the second day, 90% of the ice had melted. Cooler was not in the sun and didn’t get open often.

Best cooler ever! This keeps everything i take to the farmers market cold with little ice. Didn't have to worry about anything thawing out.

We bought this cooler to use on our boat but before we could even take it out, the lid has warped and won't seal. I have pictures but the site won't let me load them.

I bought 15 of these for a fishing vessel, to replace the original all white hard shell 150qt coleman's. I regret that so much. The lids on these are soft and when it is hot outside on deck. They become so soft, the lids tend to curl up on the edges and sink in the middle, melting out all the ice on your fresh seafood. BRING BACK THE OG ORIGINALS COLEMAN!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the largest cooler I believe we have ever owned. We bought it to help move the food from a house to house when we are moving across country. The perks it kept everything cool for long periods of time and with the lid remaining closed the ice would last about 24 to 48 hours. Unfortunately you have to be careful about how much stuff you put in the cooler as it becomes very heavy very quickly and does not have wheels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler was so huge. I wasn't expecting it to be this big. It is going to work great for long road trips, hunting and fishing, camping, etc. There's so many uses for this cooler. It is going to be great for a family of 4.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler is massive! It can hold everything that I need for my long weekend fishing trips and it keeps everything nice and cold. Ice lasts for days in this cooler. It has nice handles for easy moving along with cup holders on top. There is a ruler on top of the cooler so I can measure how big the fish I catch are. You can use the top of the cooler as a seat. And finally the drain plug does not leak and is easy to open and close when needed.
